Simple, let me answer, B16A1 with Pr3 or PW0 ECU requires 2 O2 sensors each on a seperate pair of cylinders, the third one was already there. But convienient place for Wideband sensor for tuning.

you can either rent or buy a tank. something like 150 to buy a good size tank. gas is around 30 to fill the tank. the size of the tank you get will determine the length that it lasts. and the flow rate that you set your regulator to. I typically use around 10 cubic feet per hour. so an 80 cu. ft tank lasts 8 hours of actual gas flow time, I don't say arc time because there is a pre and post flow with tig to start and maintain an inert welding environment.

Couple question hope someone can help. When I'm welding my intercooler piping, my pipe always burn up. Does that mean the pipe is not thick enough for the welder? or I just didn't weld it right?
It does the same to my manifold piping too, but it does not burn up when I use a thicker steel pipe.. Was i'm right? The pipe is not thick enough???

Are you using a 110 welder? if so does it have wire speed and voltage settings? and what size wire are you using ? sounds like .035 and it requires to much heat to melt it you need .030 or .023 depending on the gauge of the steel cause the smaller the number the easier it melts with less voltage.

might just be too much voltage and low wirespeed heating the **** out of the pipe. also try to make sure you dont have gaps otherwise its very easy to burn through.

anyways onto my question since theres soem fab guys up in here, im curious how you guys make your mounting plates form fitting on cages ? thanks

when MIG welding you need to remember that the wire speed setting controls the actual amperage or penetration that you are going to get. the voltage setting is set to accommodate the wire speed.

do you mean the 6x6 plates that get welded to the floor? just buy them or you could buy a sheet of .125" steel and cut them out with a plasma or band saw

yeah but the floor on my Se-R isnt exactly flat i heard if you got gaps under there it compromises the strength of hte cage, i rather not do that.

get an acetylene torch, tack down a small flat section, and heat and hammer it into shape..

not to *****, rob or steal this thread.. im sure some of you guys have seen this manifold around.. but i was talking with sporkcrx, and im going to attempt this creation.

anyone have any idea what size pipe that is, and what thickness? i would be guessing the 90's flow diameter would depenend on the size pipe, looks like a simple enough plan.

piping only comes in 1/2" sizes: 1/2", 1", 1.5"...... etc.

Its 1.5" sch 40 found through mcmastercarr.

EDIT: K so there is 1/4" too

The floor of a n se-r has a ton of gaps and ridges. I know because I used them to hide the wires for my stereo system back in high school. What I would do to keep the surface flat below the plates is cut an 8x8 plate and and mark out a 6x6 section. Then cut the ridges out of the marked section so that you lay the original 6x6 plate flat. Then go underneath the car and weld the 8x8 plate around the 6x6 which should reinforce any of the structural integrety taken out.

My guess would be that is 1.5in sched. 40 pipe and 3/8 or 1/2in flanges

dont know where you get that from, because i see 1 3/4", 1 1/4" etc tubing on mcmaster right now.

Probably about the same. I don't know though because I have never seen one. They can't be that much different though. Any larger and the schedule 40 probably won't fit because of the wall thickness and schedule ten would blowout after maybe a year.
