I know.. Most parts are compatible with EG6, some are compatible with the 4dr.. Certain things can be a pain in the ****..
Small update for tonight, The lower dash panels have arrived, so ive been assembling them all..
Please excuse the rough edges on the steel support structure, it still needs alot of work to fit and get it just right...

Had to use the laptop to backlight it lol.. Also the lower AWD dial text wont be lit as the pots are too big. Ill have to hunt for some compact ones..

todays update;
I put together the lighting panel for the lower dash parts, but because the LEDs ive ordered still havnt turned up, i couldnt finish it- so it went on the back burner..
I had to do a few bits and pieces for other people too but because of my 7:30 start (i dont know either!!) i had some free time. So i decided to fit one of my side NACA inlets for the rear radiator. Excuse the "rough" appearance, its just the epoxy curing. Itll be tidied up, fillered and smoothed off..

Thanks mate!
What does everyone think of the side intakes..??? My wife hates them lol.. (scarily she is generally right lol)
They will be body fillered smooth and fully painted body colour..

Very impressive work your doing in here.. Im baffled at most of it, but i love the fact that you are doing it on your own. Im pretty excited to see the final outcome!
If I'm honest, I think a single port NACA duct would flow a bit better... or maybe a scoop, instead of a duct.

I completely agree..
NACA ducts are for low aero profile, low dynamic pressure intakes..
I needed a double because i just dont have the space for a larger one.. What i may do is add a cowling over it as a scoop- but i think ill see how it works.. If the fans are on too often, ill have to resort to it..
Im pretty sure you can buy pre made plastic cowls...lol

So, you couldn't use something like that on the hood (bonnet) of this F40?

I had a thought about that, unfortunately it would be a pain to feed it through to the boot..
Ill see how it goes..
I was thinking about adding something like this to my ducts;

Thanks very much!
I made a little progress tonight, only in that i finished adding fibreglass to the rear of the ducting, just for added structural support. Thats currently curing..
Im going to look at one of the wheel arch flares at the weekend, i want to smooth them in as much as possible but i dont want them actually merged with the body.. The car will most likely visit a gravel trap at some point and i dont want the arch being knocked to cause an expensive paint job...
Ive had some good experience with resin proof tape, so im going to start off with that and build some structure up.. Then the only things left are the other arches and the inlet ducts for the oil coolers, ill have to see if my technique works for that..
