Ahhh fair enough.. Mine was different also..
I dont understand laying about so ive been sneaking into the garage and doing odd jobs..
So far ive painted the rear wing actuator unit, reassembled (for the most part) made crude (rubbish) aluminium covers, done the calculations and worked out the remaining software. I just need to finish the actuator and sort out the HW/SW stuff... Hopefully soon..

looking great so far, imo you should paint the interior bits flat black. Make it appear as if a Honda engineer had free reign without a budget, so it looks as though it could have come from the factory that way. Whats next on the to-do list?

I agree mate- im trying to make the interior (bar the dash display) look as standard as possible.. If thats possible..
I must say some times i wonder why im doing this to a 16 year old car lol.. Hopefully itll pay off..

I've been trolling for quite some time now, all the progress looks great. I'm more of a gear head than electronics junkie, but can still appreciate all the time and effort you have invested so far.
Waiting patiently for ripper vids

Thanks mate... Sometimes it really catches up lol..
In the new year im going to be scraping as hard as i can to pay for its spray work.. If i can finish it for summer ill be over the moon.
I know what you mean mate- id love to be slightly more mechanical.. I wish my TIG welding skills existed, i can only MIG and thats not perfect..
I should have a video of the rear wing actuator running on computer control in the new year - with simulated G sensor and vehicle interfaces..
Then its time to crack on wth the dash, ive just bought the two sensors for the new engine position system im working on, and there is the 4wd system to work on.. Plenty to do..

Small update for tonight.
I have received the crank sensor from a BMW 530i. Ill be using it as part of my new trigger system.
Just as a small test i had to figure out how it worked, so i put my honda dizzy (as a decent toothed wheel) into the pillar drill, mounted the sensor in place, and used my PSU and a load to power the sensor. Its my old scope but you can still see the waveform output from it..

Id love to tell you youre wrong about the weight lol..
I dont think i can though haha, with the rad in the boot, the awd .etc, despite a bit of weight saving here and there.. It most likey weighs more than standard.. By quite a bit.. But id love to say my driving talent was good enough to notice the addition of 100kg or so.. lol

I thought id do a quick video of using the frequency generator to simulate the car speeding up, slowing down and repeating. The long pause at the end is to demonstrate the fan cooling running for a period after each run of the motors to keep the electronics cool..

Here is the finished internals;

And done;
