Default 310 cc injectors w/boost dependant FPR?

Would the RC 310's be a good choice for a DRAG 3 equiped b18b pushing 9 lbs of boost? What calibration disk would be needed for the 310's to idle properly?

What kind of power could be expected out of a stock b18b w/DRAG 3 at 9 psi with RC 310's? Would 250 whp be to much to ask?

Yeah.

249 wouldn't be out of the question though.

Seriously...9-10 psi will run you between 235-255 normally...

That makes me happy

That would be gaining over 100 whp!!! Would I have to worry about reliability at all running that much boost?

Do you have an afc? You will most likely need that to get them to idle well and tune your set-up.

No, I wasn't planning on a AFC. I want to try to do it without it cause I might as well spend a few hundred more and get Hondata if Im going to spend $300 on a AVC.

Im trying to not spend a ton of money, I just want a reliable setup for now that runs good. How bad will it be to run 310's with 8:1 disk? Will this idle suck?

Ok, before you go boosting 9-10psi, use a 12:1 fmu and 5-6 psi to get a feel for what boost is like.

If that isn't enough hp/tq for ya, then do the injectors, re-cal kit.

I think you'll be suprised with how quick 5-6 psi is.

I couldn't get my 310's to idle well without pulling fuel with an AFC. I could see fuel coming out of a crack in my exhaust manifold. LOL. But you could probably get a good idle by lowering your fuel pressure.

If I were you I would just run the stock injectors, 12:1 FMU and run like 7psi or so and be happy with it until you get the Hondata. I wouldn't waste your money on the 310's because you will want bigger with the Hondata. Just some of my thoughts.

so many mixed opinions on this issue...

i think 12:1 and stock injectors should do fine. switching out stock injectors for 310s and changin the disk to 8:1 or 10:1 always seems to work for only a few people. you still gotta buy the afc and blah blah blah. just go wit the system thats proven to work. save for a hondata and injectors. youll be happy you waited...

I think I'll do that. I guess I need to get boosting in the first place before I start turning the boost up. So I guess I'll start out with .5 bar, just to get my feet wet until I can rebuild my motor and get some Hondata with bigger injectors. Thanks for the info guys!
