ok, im throwing code 41, primary heated oxygen sensor

what does this mean? car is running fine, except real lean, and i thought it wasa my FMU stuck, but now im thinking maybe my 02 is shot from running super rich for 3 months.

anyone have any experience, thoughts or ideas about this???

 

oh yea i was running 12:1 FMU with 310s for a long time, but then i dropped to 8:1........so i was running realy rich, but how long will it take for me to mess up the 02 running that rich?

I had that code, turned out I had forgotten to plug the damn primary 02 back in (the harness) when I put my downpipe back on when I was doing my oil pan swap.

 

I had that same code also. Recheck your sensor and make sure all wires aren't loose. One of my black wires was loose and when I fixed it and resetted the ecu...no more code

 

nope, checked the wires..........Art i know you think its the FMU, so do i. Ben i wonder if you've been keeping up on my FMU problems like me and Art have....im ordering a new universal one to see if that solves it, if not i dont know hondata? heheh soon just need some dough

You said your fuel pressure is high, right? Im having the same problem but Im getting a code 45(running rich, running lean). I know its the fmu because my car is running so rich it pisses me off.
But my hondata will be here soon and I cant wait to put it in.

yea i threw code 45 LAST time i reset my ECU, i hate vortech ughhhhhhh me and youshould get together and have an FMU party!

 

ok latest update, i havnt had a chance to really check it out, been busy.

but its acting wierd. its staying super lean i mean one light lit up in the "Red zone" then every now and then it will slowly creep towards the rich.......for about 5 mins or so i can boost adn im happy! then it goes back to straight up lean. so im not sure, almost like my FMU gets unstuck, then stuck, then unstuck? anyone have any ideas of how i should attack this problem? Now, if i did foul my 02 shouldnt i be getting a code of low volts or something, and if it was fouled id be supr rich right?

 

is this lean problem at idle or when you are moving.
