I hate to ask, but I searched and couldnt find anything good.

I currently have 550 injectors in my 9.2:1 b16 and currently running 1 bar of boost. Best dyno to date was 325whp untuned, and made 299 with a bad boost leak and richened up.

I would like to turn the boost up to 18psi or so for next season, and shoot for ~ 380whp.

Are these injectors enough, or would I be better off getting 650's.?

Id prefer to stick with the 550's, but not to the point where Id be risking the motor

According to my calculations the 550's will be good for about 350-420HP at 85% duty cycle, and base fuel pressure of 45 psi and 18 psi of boost. So it will be cutting it kinda close. For the 650's they'll be good for around 415-500HP at 18 psi, 45psi base fuel pressure, and 85% IDC.

i dynod at 350 on 550cc injectors and that was at 14psi and now i run 17 psi so im sure im around the 400hp range

what duty cycle are they runnin at, cause im shootin for 350-400 and i was just gonna go with 750's

I dynoed 366whp on 440's but I had to run 85psi base pressure and 95psi peak to beable to reach that power. Mine were at 95% duty cycle.....

Its possible with a PEAK pressure of 60psi on 550cc injectors you will have enough to support only 372whp. If you up it more you should be able to reach 400 easily with 80% duty cycle.

courtney day once tuned this d16y8 with 550's and he got 421whp, but not alot of people were believin the guy at first.

Well im sure it can make that power but the pressure and duty cycle is what important, i dont want running around with 100% duty cycle for daily driver.

no yours were at 100% duty cycle. I could not get a single bit more fuel out of them. Time for you to get bigger injectors so we can lower that duty cycle!

lol... ok 99.9% Basicaly they can see how far you can push a 440cc injector
