Default Help with vtec soleniod troubleshooting

I keep getting code 21 on my new ls/vtec swap. I have a pr3 computer in a crx. Anyway to check the computer?? I have good oil pressure and I have cleaned and add new ground wires. The soleniod valve works fine if I jump it to the battery. The screen is new and the valve inside moves freely. Help Help.

I think that you all help me find my problem. I will know tonight. The wiring that I got off of the net at another site is wrong. But to answer the oil ? I have my oil line and oil gauge tee in together.

GO vtec Man it works better with the wires in the correct place. But I still have a little oil leak where the soleniod bolts to the block. A type r gasket seem to be a little thin. And my timming marks do not line up. I have the idle at 750 and the jumper plug in.

keep an eye on that oil leak...when i rebuilt my b16..a first gen b16, and i used the del sol vtec solenoid gasket..that gasket blew out on me 3 different times and leaked oil HEAVILY all over the tranny. i ended up using the solenoid from a del sol vtec, and after that had NO problems with oil leakage. other people offered the advice of using a high temp silicone sealant around the gasket to seat it better..you decide.

I think that I am going to try the sealant and the gasket. I will call to get a price for the piece that bolts to the head.

YES vtec is running ok. But I went to set the timing and the marks are way off. I put the rpm at 750 and did the jumper wire. But my timing is to far advanced. The car run good and it does not act like it is way of but the light says it is. I cut off some of the dis holes and got it alot closer but it is still of the marks.

Yes number one plug. I am using a ls distributor and I bet that if you cut off the ear like I did it will work but it does not sit in the same place as a vtec distributor would.
