u sure you have all the neccesary dowels and oil jets in the head and block. looks like you not getting oil pressure. how low is the oil. put a oil pressure gauge to the motor and check where the pressure is at

ok, well im running a p30 chipped ecu vtec was working when i just had the b16 in it. i do have an oil gauge to it and there is about 70-80 psi oil pressure. oil level is good just alittle over the point will that harm the vtec. what do you think it is? ill try to hook it up manually to switch or something

I had that prob...used a gsr oil pump and that fixed the prob...all else fails you can use an MSD rpm activated switch

i think for the vtec pressure switch i had the power and grond backwards. because i dont have the plug for the switch i just had two wires with female connectors to them. but any ways the + (pos) is on the side where you push down the connector and ground on the other. can someone confirm this
