Problems with Vtec In and Out hitting on my VAFC2.... HELP?!?!?!

Default Problems with Vtec In and Out hitting on my VAFC2.... HELP?!?!?!


hi i installed my vafc2 today and noticed that when i hit vtec and it got up there in RPM's it ididnt pul much anymore... so i displayed vtec in and out and noticed only vtec out is hitting not vtec in....? my vtec is set at 4900-5200.. any idea? please elt me know, also cant post much cuz this 5 post thing.. so if u want to talk with me about it IM me limegreencivic97, thanks

Double check wireing. Make sure you hooked up the blue VTM wire, properly grounded per instruction, and check you oil level. Low oil (oil pressure) will cause your problem too.

yea everyting looks fine wired up... how can i check the oil pressure, and whats it suppost to be at?

if vtec is kicking in and out and it a oil pressure related problem, first thing I would do is check the dip stick. Beyond that, get an oil pressure gauge.

Upon checking the wires, are you sure the brown ground wire is grounded closer the the ecu, followed by the black ground about an inch futher back.
