can any one send me a pic of how they mounted the shifter in the 92-95 civics i know you have to cut a small jole but were can anyone giude me and which cover to use to cover the shifter with help please pics will help or web sights

 

the stock cover will work just fine but it will be tight.

 

does anyone have any pics of the shifter install and with the cover on it do you have to trim the shifter for the cover to fit please explain

to be exact, you have to trim the rim all the way around on a stock h22 shifter in order to put the cover on. I have done over 10 h22 civic swaps. Pretty easy to do.

 

so just cut the ring out and put the shifter into the hole and bolt down right and the cover will fit
has anyone found out how they install the shifter on the out side the car on the bottom and send pics please

 

the hole needs to be cut out almost like a big square.

i have the prelude shifter mounted in the place racing box and have not had any problems. the hole was easy to cut with a jig saw and works great. i don't know what other "problems" people have had with it.

Im in the same situation. Where do you find the shift assembly at?

 

i did almost the same thing that poison did but on the prelude shifter assembly where the 2 cables hook up i took a angle grinder and shaved down the top so i still have my cup holders and you can't even tell anyone ever messed with it
