can any one send me a pic of how they mounted the shifter in the 92-95 civics i know you have to cut a small jole but were can anyone giude me and which cover to use to cover the shifter with help please pics will help or web sights

whay is the hole so big and do you have any pic of it with the shifter cover over the shifter and how do you keep the weather out of the cap with that large hole

I don't have pictures of the shifter cables mounted at this time, but I will most definitely get them ASAP. I do believe Newman and some others may have pictures.

As for the holes being big. I fed the cables thru easily, and the shifter assembly is mounted properly and have had zero shifting problems.

I also have the stock center console over the shifter assembly to hide everything.

I will get pictures asap, though.

as for your question on why it's so big, is because I wanted the prelude shifter assembly flush and mounted flat on the chassis, and so I can obtain the OEM cover and be flush with the center (not sticking up or anything).

lol, but the I have is the h22 into a civic is a damn good swap, regardless of what you have to do. I cut my hole a lil too big. I just know that I have had zero probs with it.

I'd bet you anything if I gave you a ride in it, you'd change the reaction

what aRE YAL USEING TO KEEP THE hole cover frome wheather and send pics of the shifter in the car and with the cover over if you have to trim the shifter show mw pleasr to make cover fit

In Import Racer magazine in the Jan 2003 issue they had an article of an h22 swap into a 92-92 hb and when he did he shifter assemble, he bolted the shifter plate on the underside of the chassis, instead of inside the car. Why do you think he did that opposed to doing it the way everyone does it on here?

B-series don't have cables, they use rods. Just like the D-series, no cutting of the car is involved.

i know the b series dont fit i know that i was saying when i want to put my b20 in when i want to so i can interchange but if it cant its cool i will get rid of the b20 to my friend he wants it but please send some good pics of the holes cut with out the shifter installed and whit the cover and what you have to cut to get the cover to fit

They were probably using the place racing kit with the shift box that bolts onto the bottom of the car.. Same thing just more expensive and sometimes notchy.

jdmdxturd had his shifter on the bottom of his chassis when he had his H swap.
