Default i need help NOW!! Please Overheating

Ok my friend is an idiot. He has a 95 EX with a greddy turbo kit. Recently after boosting the turbo to about 8 psi his car has been overheating. He replaced the thermostat since the one he had on there had seized. Since he thought this was the fix he continued to drive it and the same thing happens. When he repalced the first one he forgot to get some of the air out and after getting the air out it worked fine. He is currently running without a thermostat so coolant is constantly flowing through his system. Today when running it hard the temperature gauge exceeded to about 3/4 of the way up. What do you think the problem is and how do we fix it. He needs the car workin ASAP. Thanks for your help.

This forum is being ruined by too many of the same tired "B16A vs. B18C1?" topics and "Should I boost my SOHC or Get a Swap?" type topics. We understand that you want guidance, but rather than post an open topic, why not o some searching and find members here that have had successful builds/swaps and carry on an IM conversation with him or her?

We do care about what you want to do, but when we have literally 10 open topics about the exact same thing it gets highly annoying. This MB is here for ALL of us, not just one person who thinks we should all cater to him or her by posting in his or her topic while he or she NEVER performs searches and doesn't even browse the topics in the first few pages of the forum.
is the fan comming on? might be the fan switch if it isn't, If it's fine going down the highway cool air is flowing into the radiator cooling it off but if he's sitting in traffic it will overheat. could be a lot of things, water pump not working, warped head. Also with that turbo sitting right behind the radiator, the radiator is soaking up all that heat off of it. might need to install a pusher type fan in front of the radiator. Oh and search it's your best friend. I'm sure you will find your answers in many of these threads.

Set up a vaccuum and make sure ALL of the air is bled from the system. Air WILL cause the overheat.

Hook up a manual fan switch.

Also, check your sensor, it may have bailed.

Default Re: (EJcoupe)

if you pop open the radiator cap(make sure your car is COLD!!!) and you hear a lot of pressure release from it and you see that your coolant resorvoir is full, but your radiator looks empty, then i will bet money that it is a blown head gasket.
