ok so this is a dumb question but im just making sure my dad has a 95 gsr motor and the exhaust manifold is it all held on with studs and nuts or are there some bolts too? we ordered the motor from hmotorsonline its been sitting for a while so we kinda forgot exactly what was or used to be there lol

No, the bolts screw down on the studs and clamp down on the Manifold at the block. If that answers you question..

Should be studs and nuts! Unless you have a broken stud!!

Think mine had studs, but I only had 2 nuts so I pulled the rest of the studs and replaced them with grade 8 bolts. Haven't had a problem in like 10K miles.

...just reread that, and it looks funny but I'm gonna go with it...

Yep. All studs. DON'T USE BOLTS. You can strip the threads easier that way. Not saying it will happen but just more likely.

That's what I thought at first then I reread it. If you really want to you can use bolts but I would just use studs. When I got my GSR engine I only had 2 studs left. I was able to get the other 7 studs from ACE Hardware for under a buck a piece. The dealer wants like 7 bucks each stud.

There are 2 studs...one on either end. The rest are bolts.
