I think i need to replace the studs on my exhaust mani because half of the nuts are hitting welds on the log manifold and i cant get it tight enough so it leaks like a bitch. I have seen ppl replace these studs with allen head bolts and stuff.

Anybody have this issue? and do u think replacing studs with bolts would help me ?

I had the same problem with my Lovefab SST mani. I had to use allen head bolts for two of them and they work quite well.

aLRIGHT maybe i'll try that. Did u have to take off the manifold to back out the oem studs? And do u recall what thread that is ?

I took my manifold off to do it, it's easier that way. I can't remember exactly what thread size it is.

I had this problem and just grinded down the lip on the oem bolts

cool, i was about to do that

but i just found some nice allen key bolts at a local warehouse, so i'm gonna try them first. They looked to be the same as my tial wastegate stud, so i got 5 to try.
