'98 Civic LX problem with Lugs
Alright so we were changing the passenger side Axel and the old one was rusted in there pretty bad. I left it to my buddy to beat the old one out while I was putting the new one in. Turns out that the idiot laid the hub down with the lugs digging into the concrete, and tried to beat it out that way - it didn't work. So I did it the right way, got the old axel out of the hub, then noticed he had screwed up two of my lugs.
I went and bought four new lugs and lug nuts. But when I pulled the assembly apart again, I noticed that the splash guard is completely in the way of allowing me to get the lugs out.
How are you supposed to replace the lugs in this thing? This makes no sense.

By lugs I hope you mean the wheel studs, the only way to remove those is the remove the hub from the knuckle, those splash guards are a pain, and I took mine off because they are a part that never keeps it shape.
I would prepare yourself for new wheel bearings as well, just in case you ruin the ones in there.
