2000civic with d16z6/y8head
I just put this all together It turns on and all but it putts and the exhaust smells funny head and intake mani are from a y8 bottom end from a z6 they are set at their zero marks I just replaced the coil cuz it went out before the funky swap oh I'm running a p28 ecu with a conversion peace

No codes not sure what it smells like ill sniff around tho see if I can pin point it and I'm using the y8 cam. Should I go back a tooth.?

The Y7/8 cam gears are 4.5 degrees off. I don't remember in which direction. Unless someone comes in holding your hand, you'll want to do some basic math to figure out how far off it is, and in which direction. Alternatively, get an adjustable cam gear and toss 4.5* on it.
