yeah i got the type I one month before they released the type II...oh well i still love them. took it to the tracks and they handle just awsome. and just set it for DD when i got home. great product.

and u can barely see it on the left side. need some LCA though in the future.

this is what it looked liked when i put them on. lowered it though last month.

can anyone with Type II on 96-00 Coupes help me... can these go anylower than this... i have mines on all the way down... but it still not as low as i like.

My last setup,

--- the rear coils still has a lot of rings left to let the rear go down, but the front is all the way low already.. is there any other way to lower the front?
these coils ride great though.

i got a set of Form & Function f2's and absolutley love them...

when i first got them i wanted to finally be dumped on proper suspension as oppose to my past combonations ie. stock shocks on cheap coilover sleeves, or neuspeed / h&r race springs on stock or koni shocks.......

beofre mounting them i hand tighten all the springs with the upper locking rings, then i took the removeable lower perches and spun them up as high as possible, mounted them, drop put the car down then daymn! the rear tucked tire like mad, but the rear maybe if anything tucked tread only,.... looked like *** not level so i just brought the rear up to lineup the front,....

anyone know how to slam the front without loosing preload on the springs?,...

I feel you on that. The rears on my 92 gsr can dump hard but the front tire doesnt tuck. If i stick a finger at fender level in it touches the tire which is good but if i stick it in at a slant i can put about 2 fingers in. I like the product so far but if you are looking to dump the car go another route or youll be disappointed like i am.

I was also told by FF representatives and the dealer that my tires would tuck, but after i installed the coilovers and called to ask why they werent tucking tire they said its hard to tuck on a DA, this is not what i was told before i bought the FF type 2s.

I wish that messing with the preload wouldnt mess the shock up. I also think that people arnt using the right method on lowering the car by messing with the actual preload and the the lower sleeve and thats why some of the cars look dumped.
like this car. I cant even get my front close to this without messing with the preload.

i was actually gonna pick some up for my DC5.

but on CRSX people were kinda trippin on them sayin they are just cheaply made and pretty much k-sports anodized a different colour.

so in the end i ended up with the eibach pro-street coilover system. but a friend has the type 2's on his EJ8 and it rides likea dream...dumped too.

ohh well.
