i actually like it open, but better if it was cleaned up, looks like it makes camber adjustments easier

Type 1s. This is my 3rd set that I have owned. For the price you can't beat the ride.

Because I can't keep a car! I wouldn't keep buying something if they failed on me. My brother has been driving on his type 1s for 3 years with no problems.

Type 1's on CB7.

Running 205/40/17 tire. Front's were cranked down slightly lower than the rear. No camber adjustments in this pic. Later fitted an anchor bolt kit in the front, but caused the UCA to hit the inner fender. Did not want to be ghetto and cut out the strut tower, so I took the kit out and raised the front up a bit to reduce the rake.

I have type 1's on my sedan, maxxed out. I want to lower the front a bit more. Any other way to get it lower besides messing witth the preload?

^^^^ Your 4 door looks bad ***!

I think the only way to get them lower is to do the OEM top hats I think someone posted that in a few pages back. BUT that will require resetting the pre load there's no other way.

I adjusted the preloads down about an inch on my old integra and the ride quality was horrible. Find another way.

Thanks man, it's on esm wheels now. Yeah i wasnt sure if that was jsut for the prelude or all models..And if i switch out tophats, i should mess with the locking collars where the preload is adjusted, no?

My assumption is that if your going to remove the top hats to change out for the stock top hat set up Pre load is going to need to be taken off and tweaked BUT once you have the stock top hats on you can reset it but measuring where the spring collars are at now and reset once you switched everything.

I hope I made sense lol

@caddiman, I loveeee your 4door! Mine are maxxed out, it's a little lower now on my new wheels. But yeah, they are 15's. I am considering making drop forks instead of messing with the preload. These go plenty low, but I want lower -_-

do the type II or 2.5 come with camber plates? my hardrace camber kits are hitting the strut tower like the picture above and i do not want to cut a hole.

It is a toss up between Skunk2 Pro S or Type 2's or D2 36 way's. Ugh. I am so undecided because my Omni Full Coilovers blew within 5-6 months on my Eg Sedan.

When it comes to Ride Quality and Lowest Setup without touching Preload F2 wins hands down.
Now add in Warranty experience from previous customers you will find that F2 has a Quick turn around time
Compared to other companies so you car is not on jacks for too long when there is a problem.
When you do your research and compare price with customer satisfaction you should have a clear decision.

All you dudes with type 1's who messed with preload, can you adjust the springs back to factory preload or once you touch it you're effed for good
