I have not messed with the preloads myself but I have an Integra. I can tuck most of my tire at max though. Ek's should be the same. Do you have pictures of your install?

You can check back a couple threads to see how low people go at max. If you are trying to tuck rim, I don't think it's possible.

BTW I didnt touch the preload, all dampers are set at 16 clicks to the right
They can take longer to completely settle, but the difference in height you are dealing with is mostly likely due to the different corner weights of your car.

Every car is different. I had to raise my rear driver side 5 clicks higher than my passenger side just to make them even. Tire pressure, size, style can also be an issue

I have F&F Type 1's on my BB6 Lude and I love them. At first I didn't like them because I thought the springs were too soft but after time I appreciate its daily driving comfort and the drop on my car looks great IMHO. They're good for the price you pay for

Another update, those squeaks were because it was leaking. After adjusting them again, I notice some oil/liquid

look what i've found after some research
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...king&t=2580743

I am very frustrated with this company, they seem real SLOW on answering emails, also I called them, the receptionist said warranty only go through email. They should atleast inspect the coilovers before sending them out. I would not recommend anyone getting Type 2's.

As for type 1s, there seems to be no problems

I think both are great but I honestly can say it all depends on who you buy them from. It is always a hit or miss but you are correct about them checking it before sending them out. I guess I got lucky and had a local shop that sells them for cheap and never had the leaking problem.

I got the type 2's

I love them. Just the front doesn't go nearly as low as the back

I have a question though,
How would I bring the thread part up into/towards the spring? If that makes any sense? I took off one of my coilovers to try and fix it cuz at "Max setting" they're at a 2 finger gap. The preload was off a bit so I took off the passenger side to try and fix. Cuz it was sitting at a 1 finger gap and I wanted no finer gap.
I know these go lower, but like I fixed the pre load and when I put them back up it seems they sit higher.
Is there a way to bring the threaded part up?
I was doing it on my drivers side but the dust boot was getting all twisted up cuz it was goin so high up so I brought it back down. Then I started messing with it again but I couldn't get it to go back up again.

*I know you have to twist the shock mount/ te part that connects to the control arm of the car. And you can also twist the locking collar under he spring perch but all it does is twist the threaded part down into the shock part. I wanna do II d of the opposite, bring the threaded part upwards into the spring so the car can go lower.

Thanks,
I know I skipped around a lot it's just kinda hard to explain

The simplest way I can put it, is the rsx coilovers concept,
If you seen the video. The threaded part goes in towards the spring. I know they're different designs. But I'm pretty sure these do the same as well. Because I has done it on my drivers side but it wouldn't do it again.

That post about them leaking straight out of the box is kinda bogus when you consider that the FnF's are shipped set to the lowest height and the coilovers in the picture clearly aren't set low...more like max height. Regardless, every product isn't issue proof. There's examples of nearly every coilover system out there that has ended up FUBAR for no good reason. PLus the ghetto *ss ups/fedex/usps people that treat packages like crap comes into play for people every now and then.
As for customer service though, there's no excuse for that crap

not sure how much lower you're trying to go without a photo, but this is my ek on a fat tire (205/50/15) almost all the way down and still preloaded.
