Lol Looking for high 400's. The setup made 420 on 92oct pump gas. I'm making the switch to ID1000's, E85 and turning up the boost.

The setup is a thrown together mix of gears in the crv trans and the wagon rear components. Check out the build thread in my sig for all the details!!

The fuel cell gets dropped off tomorrow to get anodized and hopefully will have it back by the weekend. It is possible for this thing to be running by the end of the weekend....

 

Is it just me or does that sump not look like it'll really serve it's purpose efficiently. What I'm seeing is the tank floor being angled, so at best the sump is level with the lowest part of the tank.

Gonna ask you guys b/c I know your all pretty smart and Im curious.

Random Question: How do some sites get away with using a brand name in their domain name? ex: Honda-Tech? NissanForums? SuperHonda?
Is it b/c they don't profit anything from the page (not sure if they do) ??
How about model names such as CRZforums? CRXcommunity? civicforums? or even Temple of Vtec using just VTECdotnet?
Are model names not actual trademarks and sort of fair game?

Does anyone worry about any sort of infringement laws when creating a decal or t-shirt? Just randomly thinking about it b.c of all the forums, decal companies, shirts being made.. Just curious how or if the companies themselves (Honda, Nissan,etc.) crack down on it or just how it works without breaking any laws.

 

has something to do with trademarks. Biggie Smalls had to change his name to Notorious B.I.G. b/c there was another rapper with that name from some time ago, but the former biggie smalls couldn't sew someone for defamation of character if another wrapper started making rhymes against B.I.G. by still referring to him as Biggie Smalls. same as if that song ended up on youtube, although he could petition copyright violations. but what about websites that show the lyrics. could they also be sued for using his name on their website? it's all confusing to me

 

ef-honda has had to put a disclaimer on the page saying we're not affiliated with honda of america, etc.

got a legal letter from honda threatening.

 

Is that why there is no more merch on the site?
I see Honda-Tech now selling t-shirts too.. so they must profit somehow.

Would I get a nasty letter if I put CRX on a shirt ya think?! I know they cant say anything about Hatch, Sedan or Wagon.. probably not even Civic.

The whole thing confuses me.. I have read some cases where Honda made people remove their sites not sure how some still get away with it though. They must profit off just advertisement and clicks alone.

 

There was a dude selling floor mats w Crx logos a wile back, since Honda started getting all stupid ( around the time they made that "truck") they stopped making them.

The sump is pretty much level with the ground. I did that because of ground clearance issues since it is sitting clear at the rear of the car. Also, the second bung on the sump is going to be the return constantly feeding the sump which is baffled really well. I don't have a pic of the finished inside but here is an idea.



Spent the evening playing around with trying to get the rear sway bar back in there. Think I have it figured out. Gonna go for it later in the week.

 

Nice. I didn't know there was a wall hold the fuel there. Looks good.

 

That whole "coffin" shaped piece now has a cap on it down to the first bend and multiple holes up the sides of it to let fuel in. There is also a vertical piece behind it to keep the fuel from sloshing side to side around it. I wish had more pics of it before he welded the two "C" pieces together.
