On a happier note I took some pics of my 1992 GSR muffler installed on my 1988 LX sedan. All I had to do was relocate the hangers. I also put 2 coats of high heat spray flat black paint on it for extra corossian protection.








I'm going to change out the Si tips for GSR tips.

thanks all, as for what happened, I'm not really sure the car started to loose power and my cluster was flickering then it died and had no battery power and i noticed smoke coming out from between the fenders and the hood so i got out with my flashlight and looked under the hood but couldn't find anything that looked burnt so i made sure my battery terminals were tight and was going to see if it would start but when i shut the hood i saw flames pouring out of the dash just above the cluster so i ripped off my hoodie and jumped in the car and tried to smother it but the fire was to far down in the dash so i couldn't, so realizing that i wasn't going to be able to save it i jumped out and started ripping as many of my parts off the car as i could until it got to hot and i had to get away from it. at which point i called 911, the funny thing is that I had never taken the dash apart on that car so i have no idea what could have caused it

and no this has not deterred me from building a ef sedan it has only set me back a few months, i will have another soon, I'm looking for a lx with a black interior if anyone knows were there is one, it has to be a manual (obviously) and i would like it to have straight body panels
