Really, it's all pretty easy to get to when you remove the blower, ducts, climate control, etc. That's the majority of the stuff under the dash. Besides, pulling an EF dash takes all of what, 15 minutes if you take your time?
gonna have to make my downpipe taller by like an inch and change the angle of my wastegate elbow.

sux also that my coupler won't go on the throttle body since it's 70mm. so i need a new one for that and another elbow to replace the one that was messed up in the accident. today gonna cut the bumper support and the grill

I know, but I'm simply saying IF it came down to it, still wouldn't be a huge issue. But everything I see in those photos should be relatively accessible with the dash in place.
So excited about that sedan BLU, can't wait to see it in motion.

True...maybe run the wire used to ground and check for codes out from behind. I have that wire tucked under the carpet for easy access.
Its really easy to get at, esp with toggle switches on the d5 ground and my laptop next to me.
The barb thing is a battery kill solenoid, google it.
I guess my new fabbed up **** wont get posted in this forum anymore, since apparently it not good enough for you guys.
Lol, you are weak.

I said its fine as long as you don't mind it. And I even wished that you don't need to troubleshoot any CELs. Please re-read my posts without affixing negative tones in your head. I was just trying to have a conversation.

I think there are many variables to your header question.. as you said, mounts, traction bars, which B series it is.. Hard to compare which will fit best b/c everyone's set up is different. I don't think there is an existing thread for EF specific.. Pretty sure there is a "header" thread though. Whatever you do... just dont call them HeaderS
Wish I had some better info but my car isn't together yet.. and my beater has a stock header still.

Your question is suuuuuuuuper broad, but it is a good question. I've run a number of combos over the years.
My old HCP mounts hung low...and I smashed two DC sports headers (I've never run dumped/slammed). I ran the regular Innovative bar for a while and it drug on a few driveways. WAY too low in my opinion. I've really enjoyed my Innovative "race" x-member as it doesn't hang low at all, but with my Innovative mounts, my JG/Edlebrock header is still scraped up (from the occasional jaunt on the street vs. the track where surface is pretty smooth).
I can leave you with this bit of advice...if it's an EF/ED, and it's lowered with a B-series, you're going to scratch/ding your header

That RMF narrow header looks like it would get me the fit I need, even with the issue of using a half radiator, does anybody have pics of that in an EF/ED?
what is the battery kill solenoid for?
Disclaimer: I am not weak, or being negative. I am asking a serious question and do not wish to offend anyone reading this. Your car is plenty good enough for me.

Exactly why I was asking for a thread where maybe this has been all discussed before. I'm a boosted kinda guy so I never worried about header options in the 10 years I've owned the car... I personally have a couple things I'm looking for and just wanted to see pics of what people are running to better my decision. LOL, thanks for letting me know it's a HEADER and not HEADERS, lol!!
I know you know better... just having some fun!

This thread fell off lately. Let's get it back on track.
edit: My new bumper. I have to figure out how to paint this thing so that it matches the rest of the car's black trim.

Wow a lot of stuff going on while I've been busy moving...
A bumper not being bolted on is something different then fabricating custom **** to fit, function, and look good. You're right, it is his to deal with... If you can't take constructive criticism, then you shouldn't be posting on an open forum. I like the car, **** is badass, I will say again for the last time though... All the money and time custom fabricating ****, and the radiator is half *** and sticks out like a sore thumb... Why one would invest so much time and money into the car and put a radiator in like that is beyond me... The only logical explanation is they were excited to get it finished and running and half assed a radiator. Whatever, I'm over it...
I don't understand it though, simple as that. Everyone is different though, I prefer to do things right the first time around anymore. Too many bad previous experiences, plus you waste time and money. Do it right the first time be over and done with it. Just FYI though, you can call me Clipsed or Clipse, no need to add guy after. I don't refer to anyone in that fashion, and would appreciate to not be referred to as such either, I call people either by their real names or their forum name. Thanks...
I'm not usually like this, biterness has overcome with a few good guys unfortunately from people not being able to take things with a grain of salt. It's hard to interpret tone and what not over a message board. As of late, it seems in my eyes that people are misinterpreting my statements or just like to get into it for whatever the reason may be. The whole radiator thing was as simple as an opinion. Bart and I started chatting about it, and HotSauce had to put his $.02 in, and it just took off...
Comments like these are unnecessary and just go to show how childish and disrespectful you are...
lol Matt, funny figure of speech... Not really, maybe I'm just too expressive in my opinion, it is what it is, seems like everyone is just too touchy.
Glad you don't, not looking to make enemies with anyone here in this thread. We all share the same love for EF's up until someone brings up the hatch, rex, sedan, wagon battle... We are all here for the same reason, really we shouldn't be bickering in the fashion that we do, and I'm not saying I'm not also guilty of it. We are all similar in the fact that we all want to express ourselves. It's a good thing, because this world would be **** if it were like Henry Ford and his Model T, if you know what I mean...
Geoffrey, go back to standing outside Toys R Us damnit...
You're absolutely right... How the **** am I supposed to interpret, "the Clipsed guy." Am I not a person? I must be a thing...
On an EF related note, I've been moving the past few days, I have gotten about 80-90% of my car parts moved, and wow... I have NEVER realized how much you can accumulate over time. Sure one thing here and there, but jeez!
I also started a new job two days ago, and still waiting to hear back from another place I interviewed at, would be nice to have two jobs and bring in a nice bit of money to get my EF painted quickly.
Hope everyone is going to have a safe and Happy Holiday's, anyone doing anything exciting this year?
Yeah, pretty much. This Clipsed guy is a feisty one isn't he. I can see completely how moving the engine forward would have this effect, having a KR-X myself. It's not really bs in any way shape or form. I also threw a half assed radiator in there at first to get it running, then a GTi rad, and now I am in the process of completely redoing the entire engine bay, using a modified half rad, with AN fittings. I hope he redoes his radiator as well, but honestly it is just a car he takes out in the desert, and beats the crap out of, so not sure if he will.

I have nothing against the guy. He was agreeing with me after all. He just has a way with words. No biggie. I used to flame noobs to no end back in the day. Especially the ones wanting to put EK frontends on CRXes, Black Widow kits, and H Series engines. The old me would be looking for some J Series idiot to flame right about now.

Please be mindful that written words are difficult to interpret for emotion. You often come off as negative/rude. It's all perception. Much like the Clipsed guy.

It's funny, been in threads with Wayne for several years now, dealt with him many times for parts, but it seems this side of him has only really come out in the past several months
