i always am stuck doing it myself, unless im at the track. the way i do it is....
get 18-ish inch long clear hose that fits on bleeders. put hose as straight up as possible, into a old water bottle. i usually jam water bottle up by strut somewhere, higher than the bleeders, so air has to go straight up, fluid stays at caliper.
crack em open, and leave em open (you can do all 4 at same time, or just one, this way)
hop in car...give pedal slow half-pushes (dont bottom out, or you can kill seals on master)
do it a bit, then hop out and tap master cylinder, fill it up, etc . tap all the calipers, knock bubbles out, etc.
do it a bit more. close em up, feel pedal, fire car up, feel pedal again, it'll be rock solid. haha
reason this works so well is the open-close-open-close method takes forever, takes two dudes, and you wouldnt believe how much air comes out on the upstroke of the pedals sometimes! (whenever i have someone to pump pedals, i watch all real quick, seeing when air stops coming out.)

So this is with the OEM setup? Not speed bleeders? Getting ready to do some brake work and this would be awesome. I work nights, so my off days, I get all my wrenching done while everyone else is sleeping... nobody to help.
Took my GF to the track for the first time. Not a peep came out of her, she was scared shitless lol

All this brake talk again, love it lol
but that reminds me, i have a wilwood setup and feel as if my braking power should be better, might have to experiment with different pads. IM running wilwood's bp20 pad right now, anyone have experience with them?

Soooooooo I have no idea what I should do about the winter weather here in WA I'm from socal and it never snowed there. Lol should I run snow tires?chains?studs? I lowered on sprints any suggestions

snow tires definately help in the snow. I used them the past couple years on my civic sedan and loved them. I never used chains or studs so no comment on those. If your really low you might want to find stock springs/shocks to throw on for winter. Big ice chunks can take out your bumper and dent your oil pan.
yup, OEM stuff. its very easy and simple, and the best way to get air out IMO. fastest too. and wastes less brake fluid by FAR

I wonder how much they're looking to get for those HKS exhausts? I've always wanted an HKS but now I have a restored Mugen muffler for my Rex. So I dunno.... Do I need the HKS?? Decisions, Decisions
Hey Matt, we miss you too buddy! Hows the sedan? Still making those crazy cakes?!
Inline4 is a bit pricey.. and as Nick said.. poor service. they just pop up on my newsfeed and saw that they have 2 hks exhausts and that they will have 6 more.. there not selling them though, bidding? probably just so they can pick the highest offer. Figured I would share.. nice part either way. I think they are looking for around a grand to anyone actually interested.

a grand...wow, someone must have a crack habit to support. don't get me wrong, it's a nice quiet exhaust, but diameter is too small for any type of performance
Yeah, I guess you could enter a low ball bid. Im not sure on the specs of it.. but Ill forever go with Universal mufflers and custom made pipes.. buy a header and a muffler, connect em! (okay you may need a cat and resonator depending)
Yep, still making crazy cakes. I'm working on getting us a store front where we can sell the cakes and cupcakes. I might even end up selling el Presidente to help fund it. That means the sedan would be back on daily duty. Check out the site I've been working on. www.tastybatter.com
A grand is too much for something a few inches off the ground and is sure to take some punishment on a lowered car.

Hey man, hopefully the store brings in enough dough to upgrade el Presidente with a newer model! Congrats man, I sent a request to your FB page, cakes look awesome.. those beer bottles are pretty wild! (big nascar fan myself). Looking forward to some finished sedan shots!
I guess that exhaust would suit a stock set-up.. maybe someone trying to stay close to original as possible. but yes, no way am I putting that kinda money under my car! haha at least not into an exhaust.

Im with you man. Ever since I started buying piping from kteller and finding a muffler I like, I've never give pre-fab exhausts a second thought. Made to your own personal preffs = best
