so i've pretty much been tracking the EVER LOVING CRAP out of my hatchback since it was oddly featured in a silly magazine.

70 or so track days later, someboy driving it (me) at a new track (Carolina Motorsports Park) did a silly thing he knew he wasnt supposed to do (lift throttle off even a tiny bit in the "KINK" going 115 MPH), and hit a tire wall. it was a wall that replaced some trees that killed some dudes a few year ago. glad it was replaced. i guess Jimmy Johnson wrecked some nascar hotness there too. NICE. really dumb move, but i had a bit of panic, and lifted a tiny bit. track was SLICK from dust, and the car drifted left, and i was too far left anyways. it happens.

it didnt hit hard, hurt NOTHING structural body lines are fine, and, drove fine after a bit of fender pulling. rocked on it hard the next day after i quit hating myself. i had GREAT students this weekend, etc, and overall had an exceptional weekend.

here are a couple pics with casey penn and sara looking good. lol

i've got a door, and flared front fenders already...

would you guys put these on the car ?

http://www.ilovebodykits.com/product...er_Flares.html

they would cover all the damage nicely, and give me more tire clearance.

and they are cheap as crap. LOL

Sup guys, I'm in the process of buying a Miata right now....but I'm really considering buying another EF after I get out of school and have some disposable income to waste.

Just checking in on everybody, sucks about the crash, doesn't look too bad though

Rob. I need new pics.

That'll buff right out....

...seriously though, if you can envision those rear qp's looking good, then I say go for it. Then you can stuff some serious tires all the way around. I'm very happy for you that the car was not further damaged...cause I've seen tire walls total a car when hit with some force.

Still don't know. I'm just trying to get it running right now before I make any drastic decisions. Maybe I may sit in it and love it all over again. Just haven't had time with it to decide anything. But parting it out was just to get rid of some stuff and get extra funds

No go on the lip fitting a 90-91. You can do a Chargspeed polyurathane lip replica. Easier to work with and shape but the 88-89 bumoer is just shorter then the 90-91 bumper so it won't wrap all the way around

I think its 12. Whatever wires they use to hook up 1000 watt amps for stereo systems.

Maybe once I get one done you can test it out on the track for and tell me how it works.
I'm learning how to work with lexan and maybe fiberglass pretty soon.

Anyone ever check out this site? Pretty good deals.
20% off some ATE super blue at tire rack.
http://www.gearheaddeals.com/2011/06...g-brake-fluid/

Some good tool deals as well.. some of those little craftsman kits would be great for a track day rather than lugging half the tool box.

Thanks for sharing! I always order my ATE blue and ATE Typ 200 (gold) online. I once had to pick up some Blue in a pinch at a Porsche dealer (this is what Porsche runs in some vehicles stock) and that sh*t cost me $35. Hahaha.

Update on my wheel drama: Dude basically says he provided a honest description and pictures and that I should trust him. I guess he just doesn't get that his definition of "excellent condition" his far off from the norm.

That's stupid. Excellent means no damage, good stickers, no cracks or bends. Or "like new".

I can't even count the times I've been in the same situation where even freakin paypal screwed me saying the "****" I got was in "excellent condition".

I bought a CRX bumper a few years ago in "MINT" "excellent" condition and when it arrived it was scratched to f*^kin hell and needed major bodywork to even look presentable, nowhere as bad as the pics made it out to be.....SOMEhow paypal's sorry *** agreed with the seller that it was in "posted" condition and made me keep the p.o.s. with no refund. That f*^er is still sitting in my attic collecting dust as I type this.......hey come to think about it...

Anybody looking for a CHEAP! oem honda 90-91 CRX rear bumper cover in need of some primer and paint?? lol. I have since stripped most of the **** paint off because I wanted to see how it looked underneath...luckily wasn't too bad
