jdm- To just replace that little piece of line your going to need to go inside the car, cut your line some ways back and than flare nut and sleeve that end, use a union fitting and than flare, nut and sleeve to your new piece of line that youll need to custom bend back into the oem spot.
If I were you and in that situation.. I would run all new lines from the prop valve to the rear. just to avoid the 3rd possible spot for a leak and extra money on fittings. I would recommend hard lines over braided lines. not sure if your "tucking" your oem lines and prop but if you are this will make it easier. I for one dont want my prop valve inside my cabin.
and dont cheap out on brakes, do both sides. I would love to just redo all my oem hardlines to new stainless lines and fittings. Hope that advice helps out.
RED- Im sure once you pull the tank down and really brain storm youll come up with a way to get it done. obviously an external pump set-up would work, not really sure what else is necessary with that though with sealing off the oem tank. Any thoughts on a Cell?
I have seen some set-ups over in the shaved thread, I think "all-in" is making some stuff, but a more basic set-up could be had for a lot less dough most likely. Keep us updated.

^^ thanks for the advice. I was thinking about it more today. Ideally i would like to just replace all the lines since they have some age on them. But im on such a tight time limit cause i wanna get the car on the road as soon as possible so i might do a quick fix like you just suggested.
Now the question is, is it safe to run that line with all these fittings on them?

i dont think anything really would need to be sealed off, basically just put it back in with a tube in there, and run the two main wires from the harness to the external pump...
the main thing i'm working on when messing with my car now is to make it trackside-serviceable, while making it reliable.
the main goal with my car within the next 3 years is to get a top 10-15 finish at the TireRack One Lap of America. a buddy (stinkycheezmonkey, mod in the RRAX forum) and myself have a goal of running it when he gets out of pharmacist school.
the best part of working towards that goal is that you end up with a very streetable, completely reliable track car.
the new turbo setup is being worked on in my mind constantly... its got such little room. what a pain.
Hey, I just got my hands on a 88 Honda Civic Hatchback SI which comes with a stock D16a6. I wanna swap the head of a Z6 on my D16A6 block, can anyone point me to some links where i can research a little more on what it would take to make this swap possible and run reliably/strong? Help would be greatly appreciated.
i just saw that too..but now im intrigued with the inline, in the cabin idea.
that in-tank aeromotive replacement looks like a great deal.

check the shaved bay thread for more info, no crx (minus sir ofc) came with ps and only auto hatches had ps, and TBH i hate 4 doors (sorry 4door ef ******) so im not sure.
If i was you I would find a crx si rack and swap it.

I never liked 4doors, but some of the ones around have grown on me, Na's stands out, theres a local drag guy with an orange one that looks awesome.. ill get some pics up.
Either way EF>EG/EK.

anybody gone about or seen somebody do this?
my fuel pump is sometimes making weird noises (walbro 255, been in there for like, 8 years.)
i'm going to replace it so it doesnt kill track time for me.
while its out, i want to make it replaceable from the top (inside the car like an EG)
anybody seen it done?
