our local tracks are at a, like, 1500 feet i think...cant remember.

i have recently (since i went last) discovered VHT and what it can do for your slicks. we used it on our CRX when we raced it in florida for the Grassroots Challenge in october...that stuff owns. with some reduction and setup i'll run better next year

Hey guys! I haven't been able to find the ef thread since the big change, but Ryan helped me out. Good to be back!

Would a code 20 (ELD) cause vtec not to engage?

I wouldn't think so. VTEC worked fine for me when I was throwing Code 20. It comes and goes randomly though so I just live with it (it hasn't come back after 2 months though so meh).

ok, maybe I just had the vtec wires switched or something. I just swapped them and I'll test in the morning. But butterflies probably still wont work...I read that if they work, you should see the diaphragm move when you crank the car up, but mine doesn't.

I give up on the new look guys
I aquired another EF9 front filler and still have a horrid gap
so if anyone wants to trade a EF9/3 front bumper w/ a password lip for my 88-89 front bumper w/ lens and J's racing front lip hit me up.

I also have an extra set of SiR headlights, corner lights, front filler piece and bent hood that can probably be re-used if the right person put hands on it

"trackbite" (basically the stuff the track puts down ) works great if you soak your slicks in it for about a day beforehand.

go to local speed shop or summit/jegs, buy VHT brand "trackbite" or some other tire softener gel

wipe all over tire. smells good, but sticks to everything. keep tire away from stuff, might want to wrap in syranwrap or something.

do biggest burnout you can.

run fast time. VHT makes a poorly prepped track hook decently, and makes heros on good tracks.

Good to know! Would that work for street tires too?

Hey vtectecnician, I had the same problem with my signal arm. Hate to say it but I called password jdm for that piece and they had it and sent me it. Cost me I think 130 for it. I hit up a few other places and nobody would sell me that piece.
