The Official EF Discussion Thread
I contacted MFactory today because I am disappointed that all the parts I have are now discontinued and not even for sale; MFactory isnt even dealing with suspension components anymore. I guess its what I get for being the test rat on buying from a new company. My main issue is that once the bearings are shot or something goes wrong I really have no company to call and ask for replacements! Very disappointed about this. not sure whether to sell all the parts I have before using them or beat them until there dead and start over.
But they said to keep eyes open for there new company: www.modusagile.com which will offer a full line of suspension components. I hope this time they stick around and dont flop in 2years because they "went a different route". order with caution.
Anyone interested in a full Mfactory set-up?!!?!

Im just really disappointed that the part is basically a paper weight after the bearings are shot unless someone makes the same exact bearing to press in. I know its fair game for a business to discontinue parts its just that I have everything they make for an EF chassis. LCA, Toe and Camber Adjusters, Rear tie bar...(cam gears, catch can, coolant sending unit, even bought a t-shirt and banner?! oh yeah, those are all discontinued too I believe) all spherical's that will inevitably blow one day making all the parts useless. Everything is brand new still.. guessing not worth much to anyone else either at this point b/c they would have the same problem. If they were willing to offer replacement bearings still I would have ZERO gripes. I still love the parts dont get me wrong.. they look quality, nothing but good reviews.. just sucks that the original plan of never replacing the actual parts.. just the bearings.. well thats shot! I hope MFactory does something about this, starting another company offering similar parts under another name, partnered with another company.. less than 2 years after disco'ing all there parts.. Just feeling kinda robbed in the whole deal.
A lot of other company's have really stepped the spherical's up lately. shoulda waited!

I have Mfactory cam gears as well and I love them. Glad I got my hands on them before they discontinued those! I wanted their oil cooler/relocation kit a while back but they don't offer it anymore...
Im kinda stumped to why they discontinued any of those parts.. Its business, just shitty business.. Im not saying the parts are shitty, just sucks that they didnt plan anything for helping the hundreds who did buy the disco'd parts. Oh well... Live and learn, Im guessing this new company he is talking about will be bigger and better than MFactory suspension was. lets just hope every 2 years they dont pull this ****.
Hopefully, since the new company is a division of Mfactory, they will make repairs to the original company equipment. I don't see why it would be an issue for them to replace bearings in their parent company's former product.
Yeah, That is all I am asking for honestly. I have been talking to Patrick via E-mail. I think he is missing my point of.. I know its business, just leaving a lot of people out to dry by doing what they did. They are hurting all the original investors in their company.
I never would have bought the parts at the price they wanted had I not believed I could just replace bearings for the rest of the arms life. and to now come out with a sister company but offer no support for the old, its hurtful!
I asked who they sold all the old stock too? if I could buy new bearings now for future use? nope... they just stopped making them, nothing left. Ohhh... and that he was going to have to upgrade himself and was in the same situation (but he owns the company!)

Honestly, after hearing all that, I'm not so sure I'd buy anything from mfactory again. They might stop carrying it and void any warranty or refuse to sell me parts for it. Maybe I'll get something from Summit. Their CS is top notch.
It wouldn't be a big deal on non-serviceable parts. I'm not gonna bug b/c they disco'd a water temp sender, but the purpose of buying spherical's is to never have to replace the billet arm itself, just the bearings in them. and the fact that they didn't think that this would enrage some customers is crazy to me... to me it seems like they are just hear for our quick buck and every so often they'll disco, do it again, and no one will be able to service our parts. Just leaving a bad taste in my mouth... Ill wait and see what the new stuff looks like, if mine is shot by than maybe they will be nice to the guys who had purchased un-serviceable parts and hook us up.. or just screw us again?! MFactory should be held responsible for making replacement bearings for their parts, thats the deal I was told while buying it. way to keep there word.
As much as I am for supporting new business's and entrepreneurs, this is just leaving me with paper weights and a bad/ripped off feeling.
Patrick has been getting back to me each time. I guess there is no happy solution.. I'm screwed and so is anyone else who purchased suspension components from them. its a shame too b/c I really liked that company.

I just want to clear/end the MFactory problem I was having... they have cleared the situation and are willing to help with future product purchases from there modus agile line. Cant really complain... MFactory stood up and didnt run.. gotta respect that. Miscommunication may have led to some of this.. but none the less. I appreciate there efforts to solve the situation. Honestly, they could have given me the big F U... I think there here for good. Thanks for the help guys.
A tad more height and a tad less camber would do it nicely for sure. Otherwise, me likes
