In my incident or his? I did it because I didn't want one negative transaction... Didn't bother me much really, I made it clear though that shipping to and back was the responsibility of the buyer, and I would only refund the amount of the purchase price of the part though.

this

defnu- next time you decide to send cams across country in a box big enough for a small child to fit in, wrap the cams individually and maybe fill the let over space with newspaper or something

Only if you plan to legalize the engine swap. This only involves engine related stuff, nothing like gauge cluster changes or anything..just the engine and its management.

lol, yeah...i ended up giving the cams away when i got them in the mail. my homie was hella happy with how they ran 12,s with stock type s internals h2b in an eg.

...honestly, i didn't scam anyone. he kept insisting that i take the cams back because he'd already shipped them... but whatever. i'm not going to lie. this is what happened...

-he shipped them back pretty much hoping i was going to just agree to give him back his money.
-to begin with, i honestly feel that CAMMUTHA****INSHAFTZzZz!!!! lol (metal, mind you), wrapped in a towel with blue tape that the destroyer will admit he'd UNWRAPPED HIMSELF would not get damaged the way the destroyer described "the damage"
-the destroyer should have just kept them they were GOOD! traded them to a friend that has not complained about any "gnarly grooves"
-yes, i haven't paid him his $100.00 dollars. why?(below)
-until I owe MY HOMIE with the camshafts in his car for gnarly grooved camshafts, i feel no need to participate in refunding a refund in which i was forced to obliged with because he'd "already shipped them" back to me. sorry but i got scammed before (search defnu, importwerkzautobody) got accused of being scammed by "the destroyer" as if it was my main objective and HE shipped them back to ME! i didn't agree to that but when they'd arrived at my doorstep with peeps on HT saying some pretty judgemental things about me i felt like a bad boy! oh no!
-then i'd realized the original agreement was i pay him back when i sold the camshafts through PM of course...
-if he remembers he'll tell you
-if not i'll just take "DEFNU's A SCAMMER get MUFFIN MAN and the FBI!
-that's just faster
-can't believe people are inerested in reading this far about sheeyit that is not their business!!! lol, oh well.

....sorry for being real. but i did agree to pay yo when i sell them, my homie hasn't paid me but he will so i will pay you when they turn to shiyt and i truely owe for them...

really, i'll pay you. plus i have others that owe me so whatever dude...YOU knew what the og agreement was whether or not you'll admit it...

...and then i woke up and realized that this dumbahss should have kept them cause they're running more than fine.

there you have it. if you'd read all

Anyways...Ryan and I are headed T-Hill on Thursday with the CRXs. Will have pics later this week

On somewhat of an ef related note, I was able to rig up a new hardline hose for my compressor with some 5/16" copper tube and fittings from the hardware store. Not the prettiest, but I was not about to sit on my hands for a week while I ordered an original hose from sears parts direct where shipping is worth as much as the hose... Works fine, and it is nice to have a compressor again!!!

What does fixing my compressor have to do with my EF you ask? Well I need it to spray my paint!

Well, I noticed a small puddle in the driveway on Friday evening. Thought it was typical air condition drain tube stuff for condensation. Did a little shopping with the g/f and upon returning to the car to open her door...boom, big *** puddle. Sure enough...coolant. I thought it was coming from the back of the block but that was only because during driving it was splashing towards the rear and then dripping down when parked. Left it alone Sat., started it up Sunday and watched coolant leaking from the front between the cat and the alternator.

Towed it to my Uncle's shop today and we were blowing air on the front of the block where the little puddle puddles were forming on the casting. Blow air on crack (which isn't visible...it's super tiny), and coolant came out. Blow air again...coolant seeps out. I found this picture and the technical service bulletin online. I really, really hope it's covered in general...or my certified used honda powertrain warranty covers it. My o.g. warranty expired 800 miles ago! Wish me luck tomorrow morning.

This picture shows where the cracks happen and that's EXACTLY where it is leaking from. ****.

what head light options are out there for USDM EF?

I'd like to get some clear lights but don't want the projectors.
I don't think anyone makes the clear lights like EG/EK versions.

If you want clear, nothing. There are no options that have clear lenses and no projectors.

theoretically you could use a clean lens off of an ebay projector headlight and replace your stock lens glass.

Idk why you would want to do this anyways. You will get a lot of scatter without the stock lens fluting..you might as well retrofit a projector from another car if you want improved lighting
