Idk why you would want to do this anyways. You will get a lot of scatter without the stock lens fluting..you might as well retrofit a projector from another car if you want improved lighting
My project... custom modified Porsche bi-xenon projectors.

Holy crap! I would have a hard time not being a douchebag about that issue while visiting my dealer. Good luck getting it fixed man.

It is funny, but a major inconvenience at the same time. Apparently it's a known issue...and I was told by Honda this morning that it will be taken care of free of charge. I even pick up my free rental this afternoon. I won't celebrate until I have a new bottom end and a bill for $0.

Stefen- Ryan Der and I are running Advanced...Ryan hasn't run there so he's running begginer.

That's good news, Nick. So is the block being replaced or are they trying to repair it? It still sucks you have to deal with that and have a nearly new car that has had all that taken out and put back in.

I never did like the the civic after '00. At that time, I think Honda realized whata solid car it was and started downgrading in a bunch of areas. Everytime I work on like '01-'04 Civic's (too soon for the latest ones, not enough time on the road), their interiors are always falling apart. The exhaust manifolds crack a lot too, not like that didnt happen on the 96-00 non ex models, but it sure seems more prevalent. The shocks seem to die waay early too.

Well, Honda confirmed a cracked block and there for sure will be no charge. I even have a nice new Camry rental car for free as well My service adviser has been great to work with despite this being so frustrating. The new short block is on its way and hopefully I'll have the car back before the weekend. 36,847 miles? Scratch that...0 miles on the bottom end

Makes me happy since I'll average 40,000 miles a year on this car.

You can post a pic, but you must realize you are open to criticism.

Very True. not everyone knows/understand another's situation or time period they are at with a build.. a picture is usually left with a lot of questions or lack of answers. One should be wise to what they post on the webs!

He cant inter-fool us!

On an EF note: Got a pretty sweet side job on a 97 accord(grocery list of repairs) and I think Ill be able to start throwing the rest of the dollars needed to get the fuel/cluth lines ordered for the Queen. maybe even some leftover penny's for seats!

I know of Earls, Ive used them before, but where else are people getting AN lines and fittings from?

i understand that, i was just posting about my lip, if thats your ride you posted its dope, mines no where on that level yet, but its a new project. Im not new to this, ive had legit RHD EG2 and an EK4 sir, plus 14-1comp ls-v's 600hp turbo b18c's so i know you guys have stuff thats way above mine but thats no reason to hate, some word of encouragement or advise on how to make it better would be nice. I know this reply is gonna get hated on but c'mon we all love the EF chassis's no matter how many doors they have so lets try to show some love for people who like the same cars.

whoa whoa whoa, nobody here has "hated," I hate that word, it's used so loosely... Anyway, If you want hate, let me "hate" on the fact you've had "legit" rhd cars, and all this money to poor into motors and turbos and yet you have a cheap *** POS lip, and fake *** wheels... Come on man, come in here real or not at all. CLICK this here, it's a PERFECT example of how NOT to display yourself....

Come in here, expect critique and criticism, open yourself up, this is a discussion thread, so if you can not be OPEN, this is definitely not the thread for you. There are a great bunch of guys that come in this thread, and I have learned a lot. There are also a lot of great debates/discussions. Stick around if you are going to take what I am writing as a mind opener, if you are going to be closed minded and start talking madness though, you won't last very long at all.

Hey guys, so yesterday I was able to spray some paint! Not in my bay, just was looking to see how the paint looks. Trying to speak with the people I know about painting, and find out if I am doing something wrong that the color is not specifically what I wanted (oem color) or if it just wasn't mixed properly from the shop. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

whoa whoa whoa, i think you misunderstood what i was gettin at, i think i gave everyone props on what they have or might have, and who says this is my only car anyway??? its a fun little project for no money, to have a fake lip and fake wheels it sure has Recaros in it. but never the less, isnt this web site called hater tech on every other honda forum on the web? its an EF forum so i figured what the hell maybe i should post my beater on here, didnt expect i would get called out on the DPFI since its already been converted now. no new pics of that yet so ill take the blame on that but shouldnt you ask before you make conclusions or assumptions.

I want calling you out, i was just stated that it couldnt be boosted on dpfi. Simple fact (well it could and that would just be retarded) No hate just pointing out things, im sure people think my crx sucks, and w/e i dont need props love or nut riders. All i need it a little 3rd gear boost action and im good.
