The Official EF Discussion Thread
So I was at the junkyard today and was pulling parts from an 88 crx si and the rear driver side window has a import car of the year sticker. I really really want this sticker! Does anyone have an 88 si and have a decent piture of this sticker so I can remake it? Or I will have to try to get my good camera into the yard to get a good picture of it.
I don't know yet.. I'm having a super hard time finding a real J's racing or ChargeSpeed ef8 lip.. But I think it might be too big for the looks of my car.. You can't really go wrong with the jdm ef8 lip either.. So we shall see. haha Imput is always welcome!
Hmm, I've never heard of them.
The EF8 would make it more pleasant to drive, too.

Hello. I just picked up a ef9 with a jdm front end conversion and am wondering how much work it will take to convert the car from auto to manual it currently has a d15 engine and is a dx trim.I want to put a b16A first gen into it. Im kinda new to the import scene so any insight and knowlage is well appreciated.
linkage
mount
5spd pedals
Shifter + ****
clutch cable
flywheel
clutch
axles
ecu (optional)
m/t cluster (optional)
wiring for the lights/ignition lockout/etc.
Gotta pull the tranny and pull the pedals. You might be able to get the pedals out without pulling the dash, had to pull mine because I did a full hydraulic conversion. Look at my build thread for any further info.
