I'm looking at a brand new front mount, in honda bag, unopened. Part # is 50840-SH3-000. If you can verify it'll fit your sedan, then shoot me an offer. I bought it a while ago for my wago...pretty sure it'll fit your sedan, but don't quote me.
Matt, Didn't get a chance to dig the vss out, I'll box it and ship it as soon as I get it out of my bin.
Is your wagon a stick? If so it should fit. The search I did said all 88-81 MT fit that part number. I have no idea what they cost, I don't want to insult you.
Thanks, clipsed. No rush.
I bought an engine stand today. Looking forward to getting the new motor cleaned up.

I really want to see your sedan on the road and let's be honest...how many people will I find in the market for just a front mount?
ive always just filled mine through the vss anyway, personally alot easier than trying to make a funnel and tube work to get it in the fill hole
i wish i could fill my cable d si tranny through the vss hole but its stuck in the tranny case. maybe the hydro si box i have to go in now will be better
I have to use a flat head to pry the VSS up and then pull/wiggle it like crazy to get it out of the hole. Removing the reverse sensor would be a great idea!
trying to get my ef running..but running into a little issue..dont say its the battery iv tried 3 all brand new...
i turn the key on and one of the cluster lights come on but its dim and the door chime goes off but its slow..fuel pump does not prime..and nothing else happens when i turn the key to start..
anyone else ever had a similar issue? im kinda stumped..i checked and rechecked everything about 20 times. its an 91 STD converted to obd1 with a b swap if it makes a difference..

check your fuses, one may have tried to blow, but didn't pop completely and now you are getting low voltage. Check with a DMM direct at the battery how much voltage it has, do the same at different points in the cars wiring, voltage should not drop, and if it does, .1-.2 volts maybe, more than that, there is something else wrong.
Also check all your grounds.
Just found my new battery when the one I have goes bad!

Interesting... Now we should call the mythbusters to see if this is for real.
You guys miss me
Well thank GOD I didn't have to sell my car in order to get the wife a new car. But I did end up selling ALL my wheels and my Mugen steering wheel to help.
So this is how it sits. But if anyone wants to donate some wheels and a steering wheel that would be cool. I also still need a SI muffler

oh and I made the WRX go faster just a little
