Try it! I doubt there would be hood clearance with ANY production hood. you would probably have to cut it out like every other civic/integra

I've seen it in an ek and it had a cut hood. stuck out a good 3 or 4 inches

I have an h2b in my car and that hood clearance i can deal with, but dang thats alot of adjusting to do. I might just go with a built F22a or h/f hybrid

I wouldn't think so. From my understanding the B16b is based more off a b18c block.

Exactly, or else you could end up with a header that you have dent for clearance, and or having it coming in direct contact with the oil pan.

No it doesn't clear the hood. There is a Red from the eastcoast that has one. I don't remember ever seeing a hood on that car..

let me check my HD for pic

no. the b16b is the same height as a 1.8L block. you'll need an ITR or similar header.

the b16a header isnt tall enough, it just wont fit. a b16b is basically a destroked b18. the deck height is 20mm taller if i remember correctly.

I knew it had clearance issues, I was just wondering how much exactly. But then I saw an ek. That thing stuck out past the hood a good 3 inches. I decided against that swap for that reason and also I don;t want my car to be too off balance. I brought it up in the shop the other day and one of my co-workers said i was gonna hit the brakes too hard one day and do a front flip. lol.

But still, I'd love tosee that pic if you have it vega
