What about picking up some really nice 3-piece BBS and re-powdercoating the center and repolishing the rim? It would be a lot of work, but could look faaaaaaaaaabulous.

Yea those RE30's are very nice looking! I am not a fan of bronze wheels, but I do like the design.

EDIT

i thought i was replying to something different... i thought i had read are "DA spindles the same as SI"

DX ARE THE SAME AS SIs .. SAME. sorry. i need to read better, i only get on HT when i'm sleepy

some of the Si/DX/STD calipers are a bit differnet, but the brakes are interchangable all throughout. same mounts on the spindle. the STD hubs are smaller (same as HF), but the spindle are the same. i actually have STD spindles now, with new wheel bearings for an SI, and 96' EK hubs i had sitting around with extended studs in them. same size hubs.

That was my first decision.. but most BBS 3-piece wheels have a center cap that I wont be able to rock with the extended studs.. So I have counted them out unfortunately. My other thought was RGF's.. Wish I was baller and could just buy all the rims in the world!

I hope it's being well taken care of in Philly. Anyone seen it up there lately? I hope its future stays shiny. I could never get the previous owner to return the vanity tag Thankfully I have one from Alabama still.

Anyone know offhand if a B16 JRSC will bolt up to a B16/B20 combo? I know it will bolt up to the head, but will all the pulley's still line up?

Asking for interested party in here first.

the pulleys will still line up, yes. you might need slightly different length belts, but i dont think so.

Ive been real sick lately so I have not got much progress done lately.. Just took the dash/pedals etc out to get started on the hydro conversion and clean up the lines, secure the fuse box. having no heat in makes a lot of extra room! Debating on tucking the brake lines while I have everything apart....

As for blocking the coolant to the heater core. I ordered the bolt/washer for the head port. I have a rubber cap to block the port on the water neck but may grind it down and weld a patch over it.

Also waiting on my Vibrant resonators to make my exhaust and install the rest of this freshly coated goodness..

I'm too lazy to make a build thread.

Yeah, I want to change up a lot of things now that I'm in there. Never wanted to do a brake line tuck, but now that I have the access and see how simple it would be.. its just a matter of buying the extra materials now.
Wanted to lay some sound deadening material on the firewall now that I removed all the padding they lay in there.. Dynamat is just so overpriced, Anyone have any other cheaper options?

There are no markings whatsoever where the re-branding could be done, and it is the exact same thing as one of the dynamat lines that I have felt. My main point in all of this isn't for audio, but to keep noise out. I'm sure it'll help with temperature control too.

6 in x 25 ft roll for $12. I bought a roll last night... and the **** is amazing. Incredibly awesome product for the price. I did about half a floor pan with one roll, I'll probably be buying 2-4 more rolls to do the entire car. I'll weigh a roll too to see what my added weight will be... I really don't think it'll be much. Here's a couple of pics of what I did last night:

i've been wanting to do this for a while...everyone that i've read that's done it has had great results and said it's just as good as Dynamat
