If my 2700lb automatic Integra can get 33mpg on the freeway with the stock b18b, a b16 EF should be able to do better

Bah I built a motor when I was 13.
Bah I built a motor when I was 13.
Damn James I told you what to do in pm!
1) Disconnect shift linkage and Exhaust
2) Remove both front wheels
2) Remove axles (no you dont have to drain the tranny fluid, I never have and never had leaks).
3) Put wheels back on and lower the car back down (this step only required if you need to roll the car around for some reason)
4) Disconnect the 3 engine to main harness connectors on passenger shock tower
5) Disconnect the 2 connectors on the drivers side shock tower (I think there are 2
)
6) Disconnect heater hose located near the fuel filter and the fuel hose.
7) Disconnect the purge control solenoid valve connector from the IM.
8) Disconnect the speedo cable from tranny
9) Pull radiator out and disconnect related hoses
10) Connect chain, rope, whatever to cherry picker/hoist and crank up until taught.
11) Pull all the mount bolts
12) Pull that bitch out!
I'm sure I left out a few things but that's it mainly! I pulled my stock crx motor out with no power tools by myself in 2 hours from start to finish!

I was going to use a dual dash pod on mine but the one I had was too deep and would not fit in the cubby on the dash. I would have had to cut about half an inch off the back and done some fiberglass work to it to make it fit. I dont have any fiberglass skills so I wasnt going to do that. I just sold it and got a pillar dual gauge pod. I've got friends that take their vents or other useless parts out and "create" their own pods that fit in those locations. Looks PIMP.

I never got more than 33mpg with my old b16. then it was a constant 25-28 when I turboed it. Must have been all the vtec. Now I get anywhere from 26-34mpg with my b18b. I dont have an o2 sensor connected to it. When I install my header and make my new exhaust I'll put theO2 sensor in.

ah yeap... last resort was to use the sheet of CF mounted in the Single Din location.. but i think the Defis are too big?
Got another question for you folks...
I had orginally wanted to get a replacement crossmember from Innovative mounts, however, the response i got from my post in the EF forum, netted alot of negative feedback, about the bar sitting too low? which is a concern as I will want my EF to sit rather low, not stupid, but its gotta tuck abit of rubber correct?
now, the two main reasons for a replacement crossmember, is 1; allows me to run my ITR 4-1 Header i have from another car, and 2 run a 92-00 Radiator,
now i can get around the 4-1 header mount, with careful mod of the OEM crossmember, but how do i fit a 92-00 half size radiator to a OEM EF crossmember?
have anyone done this?
sorry for the n00b questions, new to this old school EF game.

the main reason its not even close to the teg is the gearing...b16 trannys are at like 5krpm at 80mph...also its the fact that everyone dicks around with fuel pressure and injectors....ls cable tranny wes style would prob yield 35mpg easily

alright so i just did a leak down test on the b16
cylinder 3 is giving me 30% but we banged the valve and it went back down to 10%. So I may or may not feel the misfire. Should I spend the 1k to get it rebuilt or just ride it out for now??
other then that all the other valves are below 18%
