I have a Autopower and my legs sit lower to the rear panel then this one .
and the front feet are facing the fowards and not to the side like this one
Anyone know what kinda of roll bar this is because I need on with those above measurements.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I don't know man
Went to Albertson.
Got a 1.14lb bag of Dry Ice.
Went to Kragen and Got some Acetone. Poured maybe 1.5 Cups in a buckets. Curshed up all the Dry Ice and put it in piece by piece to see how it boiled over.
Let it set for a minute or so. Took a paint brushed and spreadit on the trouble spots and listened as it fizzed on it.
I eventually dumped to whole contents of dry ice in the bucket and stir it up until it got slushy like you said. I kept adding it to the guwy **** then start scrappin at it. It was hard but didn't come up like to sound deadner so I don't know what the hell happen.</TD></TR></TABLE>

That is not enough dry ice, i used 15 lbs to do my front pan. Plus it evaporates so indeed you probalyl only had 3/4 lbs

I started to work on getting the rest of the tar crap out last night and said "screw it." I'm just going to have it sand blasted. It's not that expensive and a whole lot easier. I have a limited amount of time to work on the car, I don't want to spend it scraping goo.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by mekanism &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I guess I dont like the no carpet look. IMO its only good for a race car, otherwise its just being lazy for not wanting to put the time in to restore the interior! </TD></TR></TABLE>

Carpet = weight. It's purpose built, if I were building a real EF9 or something I'd consider carpet.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by fourthgenhatchB17 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I would think twice about that one. Its gonna make it a real bitch to do some motor work. For example, ive seen some where it makes it nearly impossible to pull the intake manifold off. F that, lol.</TD></TR></TABLE>

The intake manifold will be in the front and the motor goes in from the bottom, so I'm not worried about it. The permanent strut brace will be nearly touching the firewall, out of the way. Not to mention, it'll be way more functional than a bolt in unit, especially a hinged one. Oh and it's only gonna cost about $50. Win, win, if you ask me.

Example:...

Yes, that's a 1st gen Civic, yes, that's a B series, and no, I don't know anything about it.

^ damn that's nice. And that is by far the best and most functional strut brace I have seen. That's the only way to do it. Would there be room in a ef bay for that?

Definately. The 1st gen Civic bay is smaller by far. You actually have to hack up the frame rails and can not turn the car lock to lock due to the length of the tranny, if you swap in a B series, that is.

is it normal, or a good idea, to have that bar running right above your knees? I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Most 10 pt cages have a bar under the dash.

I know everyone hates these things, but Im really looking for a pic...

Its of a Blade Silver CRX with like sport bronze pana's on it. I think it had the JDM front, but I can't recall. I know it was a picture taken at maybe an outdoor meet (Other cars were around it), but thats about it. It's a long shot haha, but I figured its worth a shot.

TIA.

My new rex project should be going full swing here soon

Thanks for the tips.

Its an older pic though... Saw it a few months back I believe, and I dont think it was ever a NWP feature. I look around on there a bit, and had no luck.

But thanks again for the info. Ill keep looking
