i am just starting that stage this evening.

ill be done soon I hope if I recieve all the parts that I need

 

holy hell deftones....that thing is stripped!....hope all the work will be more than worth it in end!!!

ill be driving it in about 7 days. once youve done a few of these you dont need to sit and think, you just spin ratchets until its done.

i usually buy a pack of zip lock bags when I start....I say "ima label all of these bolts where they go"
then I start dissassembling......when I get done I usually look up and there is a full box of ziplock bags on the shelf and there is a full bowl of bolts.....lol I get it back together tho...its funny how you can look at a mound of bolts and say..."hey that goes to the shift linkage or ....ooooh thats a intake manifold nut.

its easy. all you need to know is:

10, 12, 14, 17

end of story.

im replacing the majority of my hardware with stainless 5mm allen bolts with stainless washers anyway. i used the stock bolts while painting, now im removing them and replacing them with the nice ones.

does anyone know what size the obd1 V6 honda ijectors are off like the minivans or whatever? i got 4 of em like new. im hoping they are like 270s at least.

 

deftones, what color have you chosen?

 

i'm excited to see your results. so what motor did you decide on?

no Idea i would say that they are above 240's
obd1...that would be the c27a1 2.7l v6 right?

Hey just as a suggestion you may want to strip the majority of the old paint off and do your body work on bare metal. It makes things much easier when trying to blend and feather the filler. If your not careful you will see where the filler and old paint meet up after you color sand when filling over old paint.

If you are simply doing spot repairs then you have no choice, but by the looks of things it looks like you are doing a full refinish. Just a thought!

yea i bet....and here I thought I was getting good at motor swaps ......except wiring...that **** confuses the hell outta me still......i....i cant wait to see it driving in a week :D
