I just got done putting it in. It is soooo sweet. My stock crank regulator broke so I was gonna try these out since it is my DD most of the time. I am glad I did. They are like factory not like the gay spal kit, and they are easier to wire then the JDM stuff, and cheaper and easier to come by. I didn't want the window switches in the doors anyway I mounted them behind the shifter. The kit was cake to install, and seems to be good quality. Check it out!

Looks like they just bolt in place of the original window regulators. Shouldn't be too hard if you've ever had to replace a window channel before

Are relays required? Or do they just run off of 12v?

Thanks for the reply. Was it like horrible rubbing on one of the flanges or just very mild rubbing?

PRetty mild rubbing, only really noticable when i would pull out of drivways, into parking lots, etc... Weird low speed driving conditions. It could be fixed easily with adjusting hangers or spacing the sway bar,but ive been lazy about it...

Exactly. You reuse the stock rails, and just install these scissors in. It was real easy once I figured it out. The first one took me a minute. The kit only is for the motors, and everything you see in the pics. The switches are extra. I went with this switch kit, and since I installed in the center console I am not using the one switch.

http://www.a1electric.com/Merc..._Code=

It was a high current setup, and required no relays. It was simple power, ground, run wires. Next I am adding a window roll up module to my alarm. Then when I arm it the windows will roll up. I will also be able to roll them down via remote too.

It took me a little longer than it should to complete this task. It always does. I ended up doing some other things. I removed the door lock rods, and remounted the door actuator directly to the lock mech. I basically redid the entire power lock install the previous owner did. Now my car is unslimjimable. Besides that even if they break my window out they won't be able to open the door. They will have to crawl through the window, and by then, they will be getting shot at. I have about 5k in stereo junk in this car so I keep her protected well. It is my luxo-econobox daily driver. In dash Navi, DVD player, power everything, all the things a modern luxo car should have. I am contemplating adding cruise, but IDK I am not a big cruise fan. It's just going to be a more comfortable version of a crx. I love taking it on long trips. It is going to be even better now. I'll be picking up some reupholstered DX seats soon. They will be an improvement over the stock HF junk that is killed.

Anyone got the airbox/arm from their 91 Si?

Bart, that was the exact kit I was looking at myself. Glad to hear it is what it says it is. My civic has a leftover electric kit that isnt working too well, so I may swap that out.

So sad to see it go the way of the reciprocating saw. The metal flake in that thing was crazy. Looks kinda bass boatish.

Yeah the kit is awesome. One of the guys at Hasport got it, and my buddy there told me about it. I liked it sooooo much I figured I would share the info with you guys. Way better than the universal kits like the SPAL kit. I have on sitting on the shelf right here, but I don't want that junk in my car.

Hey guys I appreciate such an answer for the sway bar - if you don't mind I'll probably be stickin my head in this thread more often to get stuff answered.

One other question I had then was; if you're running a smaller diameter front sway do you use an upper strut tower bar? Like the 3 pt. PWJDM or say a standard one like an ebay special? Right now my setup is a Progress coilover set with the stock sway bars and pretty much ever thing else stock from a '91 Si and my car handles downright terrible.

i replaced the rear 1/4s and rockers and the rust came back to the floor boards and killed it. Trust me it was the hardest thing to do since I DIDNT have the new one lined up yet...Sometimes **** works in funny ways.

Hey Bart, did you have to drill at all? I wonder if they have since revised the installation instructions. I purchased my kit a while ago and even though the instructions said "no drilling", i had to drill a hole on each door. Not a big deal though...

Oh and I didn't want the switches on the door panels either (didn't want to cut the panels up). So, I placed them where the Power Mirror switch is supposed to be (well, at least that's what I think is supposed to be there).

Can't wait for you to put your pics up. I'd like to see how it turned out.

actually I don't like stretched tires. But the wheels themselves look good on the car.

EDIT: how the hell did you get power steering in the hatch? I thought only the EX sedans had that.
