I wonder if they have since revised the installation instructions. I purchased my kit a while ago and even though the instructions said "no drilling", i had to drill a hole on each door. Not a big deal though...

Oh and I didn't want the switches on the door panels either (didn't want to cut the panels up). So, I placed them where the Power Mirror switch is supposed to be (well, at least that's what I think is supposed to be there).

Can't wait for you to put your pics up. I'd like to see how it turned out.

You only have to drill if it is usdm 89-91. 88's and 89 HF's are fine. My car was a 88 HF so no drilling. I'll get the write up done soon. Been real busy.

SUp Guys. Been gone for long time. Trying to get a new computer so I can get internet hooked up at my place. I wanted to remind people that I'm still here. Few pics of my rex.

finally dynoed the motor:

Put down 198hp with 142 tq over at church. Stock block, stock head w/ itr cams.

Also had a question for some of you. I wanted to put in a basic roll cage which will allow me to use a harness. Was wondering how much something like that goes for. Is bolt in better than custom welded? How much am I looking at with custom welded. I got a quote for "around $500". Does that sound right? I enjoy looking at all your rides too. Please keep posting pics of them. THanks!

my dad's 89 dx doesnt have it. I'm looking at purchasing a 91 EX soon and it has it. Also it is a manual.

EDIT: So, as I'm driving back to Laurens, SC fromt he charlotte meet tonight, my alternator belt decides to do tricks and snap off and get wrapped up on the axle. It shredded into ribbons(literally) and wrapped around teh axle. WTF? Thank god my giant battery had enough juice to get me the other 1.5 hours home. I'm gonna start carrying spare everything in this damn car.

Ridiculous. This is why I can't justify DDing the EF once it's done haha. Don't want to get stranded on the side of the road driving up and down the California coast .

Then your car has problems......

I would drive mine from here to NY any day without worry.

I used to think the same way and DD'd my car from Nor to So Cal for about a year with a fresh ZC. No problems whatsoever and never burned any oil under normal circumstances. Well, that is until the timing belt tensioner slipped out on me . Either way, after I finish rebuilding my car with all new parts I still wouldn't daily it. A completely modified EF is a goldmine of parts to the wrong people on California streets.

Although I did find out recently that Orange County supposedly grants the most CCW's... . Can't wait until I'm 21, I just need a legitimate reason

yea dude, I built this motor with ALL NEW HONDA parts and **** still finds ways of messing up. Well the axles and alt/a/c belts are autozone, but thats it. the motor itself is all HONDA. I cannot wait to buy a damn 91 ex.

Had to give rywire a premium spot for his products in our new shop.

if anyone is interested in seeing more pics or curious as to what products we will carry, go ahead and ask and i'll post up some more.

...or come check us out at Power Honda, Costa Mesa.

Gotta bring back the 90's undercar flamethrower security systems ...too bad there would probably be a string of lawsuits from thieves after that haha.

nice setup joe, Looks great. There isn't many honda dealers that have a performance type sales dept at all. i have seen a picture of a dealer in FLA that had a spoon equipped Em1 on the showroom and was Spoon Certified.
