two srews on the end
double sides tape in the middle (if you really feel like u need it)
when u mount the lip bring down the ends as far as you can
alot of time when people mount them on the bumper the lip is "curved" from the center and lip looks like a smiling face

just did the amsoil engine flush and put in amsoil synthetic oil. car runs so much more smoother, quiet, and revs much quicker. need to get the tranny fluid done next. cant wait to see if MPGs increase. motor/ tranny has 207K miles.

Right on! I can't imagine what our cars feel like with meats that big! Oh, and those front splash guards don't really serve a purpose anymore do they?

I'm convinced the H22 is the best engine ever. I am selling my K20 and buying 3 of them.

Everyone is entitled to their own view or opinion, but I don't think this was called for:

Thats alot of work to put a garbage engine in, but if that what you want, cool. Looks like you really got allot of heart and soul in that thing. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I don't agree with the first part, but the second part sounds about right. That guy really did put a lot of heart and soul into building his car the way he envisioned it

You should probably just stay out of that thread and hit up some K-series threads.

Most of what I say is not called for when it involves H22s. There was a thread previous to this one, that I provided lots of info on how h22 swaps destroy the handling of a light civic platform. All the same douche bags were posting in it. They are all straight liners, so none of them care about that. I feel the h22 is a horrible idea, but all of them get but hurt when I say anything about it.

If I flamed someone about a k20a3 it was a joke. I mean it is kinda pointless. It is like a torquey B16 swap for way more money. At least it sets the ground work for a great engine to put in. Usually when I say condescending **** like get of welfare, and buy _____. I am really just razzing people. I use that often.

One of my main beefs with h22 swaps is most kits require removing the pass chassis mount. Which most people will not go to the effort to change to put a good B or D in. Most of them won't do K's so it is pointless to even think that might happen. They did an H22 swap to save money, not because it was a well thought out plan. So whoever buys their H22 swapped car. whenever they realize what a mistake they made, ithe new owner is probably going to think that all crxes handle like poop. It is bad publicity for the platform. The last H22 thread I spread my beliefs in one of the guys PMed me, and told me I was right and he sold his car and bought one with a B and was much happier. I just think people need to experience the capabilities this great chassis possesses. Not hamper it's handling with a heavy low reving, ugly, illl fitting, hard to work on, pile of junk. Thats just me, I don't think people should ruin these cars, and pass on the problems to new owners. Then again if people are stupid enough to buy an h22 crx, they are probably going to rice it anyway.

some people are drag queens. If thats the case, why not get a swap thats gonna yield 150ft-lbs of trq for the price of a b-series swap?

i, having seen the light, will never go back.

Did you actually test an H22 swapped CRX with all the correct tools to measure handling? IIRC it was Sport Compact Car who tested the Hasport/Progress H22 CRX and the thing pulled over a G on the pad and handled VERY well.

And why not throw the weight argument in here...the H motor and trans is only about 35lbs. heavier...

I don't see why anyone should hate on what SOMEONE else is doing to THEIR car. Just leave them be.
