Did you actually test an H22 swapped CRX with all the correct tools to measure handling? IIRC it was Sport Compact Car who tested the Hasport/Progress H22 CRX and the thing pulled over a G on the pad and handled VERY well.
And why not throw the weight argument in here...the H motor and trans is only about 35lbs. heavier...
I don't see why anyone should hate on what SOMEONE else is doing to THEIR car. Just leave them be.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Exactly.

I did not test it in a CRX, but I have a few friends that are Honda Challenge H1 racers, and one of them tried the H2B in his EG Coupe race car, at the championships 2 years ago, and qualified poorly. He then put his B setup back in, and ended up in the top 5. His suspension engineers tried to get it to handle all week, and the obvious solution is pull that POS out.
I never hated on anyone. It all started, by giving informed arguements on why not to do an H swap, and it has snowballed into this. All of those people posting have ben in previous H22 threads, I have been in, and they are all PMing eachother like they are the H22 Mafia or something. I find it quite comical honestly.
Also Nick you of all people should know how bad 35lbs can effect a cars handling if it is placed in the wrong spot. Since all these people care about is a sport of knuckle dragging primates seeing how fast they can go down a straight line, then in that case the 35lbs on their front wheels will help them. I feel they should venture into more advanced arenas of motorsports. I have, like you, and I enjoy it allot more. After drag racing in a 03 Cobra with 600hp, and drag radials. I just really feel that FWD drag racing is not the smartest thing in the world. If all I wanted to do is drag race, I would not own a Honda.

Oh I know...and I'm not attacking you so sorry if you felt that way. If people want massive amounts of weight up front...go for it. I, like you, would never do an H22 in a CRX, but to each his own.
As for RWD drag cars...FWD just doesn't suffice. That's why I never got into it after hitting the strip about 5 times and that's why I still dream of building a fox body stang to hit the strip in.

I enjoy turning my honda more than driving in a straight line also, but I do love going fast in a straight line too! I plan to build a sohc ef daily into a nice weekend warrior. Maybe a d16z6 with a jrsc

just like streetwerks said, http://www.explicitspeedperformance.net/
they make a bunch of great parts for the 88-91 civic. not too expensive either.

James,
I was just over on NWP and looking at your pics with carlos. I'm surprised at how those wheels look on your hatch. they look pretty damn good. what wheels did you put on your integra?

Anyone who would buy that must be a complete and utter idiot. As a matter of fact, I think the seller is an idiot and has no morals, ethics, or sense of humor whatsoever. I mean, if you're going to price gouge like that, at least charge $3,100,000

I put my spoons on the integra for right now until I get tires
i actually like how they look too
if I go lower i might be able to pull it off a lil better, but that won't be for a while

those probably look better than the mugens did. most people think those are ugly, but they look really good on an EF.
