no, not really...While driving it does kind of buck a little as if it were an obd0 b16 with o2 sensors wired backwards...It doesnt bog like a b16 would, but it kind of bucks.

Maybe fuel filter...I'll buy one today and see if that does anything. I don't know if it has ever been changed on this car. lol I've had it for 5 years and haven't done it, so its probably due time. the fuel pump is a 3 year old walboro 255, and it works fine too. I must have got one of the good models or something.

your car is doing the same thing my Teg is doing right now
Idle use to serge under 1000k
it was actually fine when it is cold but once it warms up and I come to a stop it would bounce
sometimes while idleing it would just idle out and cut off when I put in nuetral even if I'm still rolling.
Anything under 3k feels a bit sluggish
and my idel stays @ 500-600rpms
I recently cleaned my IACV and the constant surging has stopped but it still stays @ 500 rpms and sometime.
I would say clean the IACV
drive it around and see if thet helps
If not try a different distributor because it could be to coil
if that doesn't help then go straigh to the fuel pump
These were the top three thing thats went out on my civic when I was having the same symptom

Does anyone know of a good cleaning solution or chemical I could use to scrub out a few small grease spots on a driveway? Just finished cleaning my motor yesterday and
looks hella good
. Cleaned off other grease spots with simple green + scrubbing but there are a few smaller ones that are pretty stubborn.

Does anybody use a fixed bucket seat with stock seatbelts? I'm trying to decide if I should just look for an Si seat and sell my Sparco. I don't want to put a cage in or spend the money on a harness.
That's what I'm saying. I have the Sparco seat, but don't want to use a harness unless I have a cage. Otherwise you can't mount the harness correctly. Nobody makes a harness bar for the EF as far as I know. The stock seat belt kind of works with the Sparco, but it's not 100% proper.
Cages are a big no-no unless you wear a helmet

Uggghhh, let's get some things straight here:
1. There's nothing wrong with running a stock seat, stock seat belt and a roll-bar. I tracked my car like this for a bit...in fact, this is how my passengers have to ride on track.
2. NEVER run a bucket, fixed-back seat, without a roll-bar. You flip, you die.
3. There's also nothing wrong with running a bucket, fixed-back seat, with stock harness and a roll-bar. It's not the optimal set-up, but it works.
4. A full cage on the street is not as bad as everyone thinks. If you're 6ft. tall like me, it's bad, but people under that height who are properly secured in a bucket seat with a 5 or 6 point harness won't come close to bashing their head on the bar.
5. The ideal set-up is bucket seat, 5 or 6 point harness, and at least a roll bar.
6. NEVER EVER use a harness bar. I don't know why they even sell those! You flip, that harness bar keeps the seat from reclining back (like they are designed to do in an accident), the roof crushes in and you die! Yay!
Oh, and here's some pics of my new rear wing:

That wing looks sick. If it's a track car...cudos. Proper install too.
I just replaced my VSS and it got rid of my code 17....so far.
It still has a difficult time starting once warm. I have to hold the gas down a bit for it to start. I'm gonna go buy that fuel filter now, and hope my replacement DK distributor comes in this week, so I don't have to buy a new coil...Hopefully this one will work like it should...

Nick - some of your info. is incorrect based on what I've heard. Even in a stock car, the seat is designed to keep you upright, not go backwards like you said. Otherwise airbags wouldn't work. For whatever it's worth, there was a pretty decent write up about all of in the most recent Sport Compact Car. For fear of starting a pissing match, nice wing
Joe, how much can you get me the outside trim pieces for? the ones for the side triangle glass. 91 crx si. Sorry I never got back to you about the side moldings, but someone said they got the last set ever...

when I flipped my jeep, the airbag didn't go off.
Kinda happy it didnt. It might have snapped my neck...Airbags scare the **** out of me.

Thanks! Yes, it's a dedicated track car/TT/Time Attack car.

There's no need for a pissing match, but thanks for the comment on the wing. My information cannot be labeled as incorrect based on what you've "heard." If you research the functionality of seats in an accident, you'll see that they collapse in certain situations.
If you run a harness bar, the seat cannot collapse, the roof caves in and your spine is compressed. You die.

I've read a lot about it, and my opinion is pretty much what you said. Either use stock seats and seatbelts, or run a race seat, harness and roll bar. I guess all or nothing. I'm not arguing that. I've read both sides to agruement about the seat having to move. I suppose it depends on the situation, and I certainly see your point.
Will that wing take any downforce off the front end?
