i dont think thats a "first."

maybe its a first for innovative. but not in the industry. HASport came out with theirs a couple months ago: http://hasport.com/shop/produc...d=171

EDIT: someone else got there before me.

HASport > Innovative

I mainly meant if/when you put a new hose on there. I had one like that, and couldn't get a new hose to seal on there for the life of me. I ended up having to hammer deep sockets into the fitting, gradualy increasing until it was round again.

I personally have yet to ever have 1 complaint back on any Innovative part as far as fitment, warranty, or service goes. The shipments that I have to drop ship always leave and arrive to the customer on time.

Did you try contacting anyone other than "Jim" there?

Haven't had a bad experience with innovative. The mounts that i got from my b swap were top notch. even with my car being slammed the axles have no bind what-so-ever. the shift linkage was perfect. even before the short-throw was added it brought the shifter in close range (compared to the reach of the stock linkage).

Im not saying that you are wrong, but i my parts from innovative were great quality and excellent price.

<--Autoworks customer vouch. actually got all my innovative stuff 2 days earlier than promised.

at the time, he was the only one that would talk. The number i was given from Innovative's website was Jim's cell phone. the biggest problem was that he lied to me. numerous times. then when i got the parts, they sucked. And i asked if anything else would be needed and i needed a slim fan, half size radiator and aftermarket traction bar just to run their cable -> hydro kit... they told me i needed nothing.

the bushings slid out. and the clutch actuator slipped a lot and came loose.

I'm looking at a EK hatch with a B18C1 for a daily driver. It will be my who cares car. I just need to find a way to eliminate the distributor, and run coil packs. I hate distributors. Stupid 1920s technology. Hell I might just sell the drivetran out of it, and do a k24a2 in it.

When I bought my hatch I knew the roof was screwy. It wasn't until I removed the headliner and found out the cross supports had delaminated from the sheet metal. I finally fixed it so I can put the interior back in. My motor and tranny are really really close to being done too.

The good news is that it's MUCH better. Not perfect, but better. And it won't rattle. The bad news is that I got a bunch of the foam in my hair. I'm most likely going to try and buff/polish the paint, leave my bumpers black, and maybe paint the hood and roof with a semi gloss black to help hide the imperfections.
