cf hoods usually fit like crap, so try it on before you agree to a trade.

No clue...I need to call my local Sears and ask for the phone number of the local service center. I'm hoping less than the $99 I paid for the Jack. It's less than $40 I'll do it. If it's more than $40 I'm buying another as the aluminum ones are great for track days and toting around. Maybe I'll splurge on a really really nice jack and not let Ryan or Chase use it

man...that is too weird that you guys were talking about the aluminum craftsman jack. I was in my garage like no more than 10 mins ago, and I'm thinking...why the f is there oil coming out of this goddamn thing? I just bought the **** in the spring.

lame.

Anyone have any quality suggestions for a comparable jack? Something aluminum and low to the ground like this POS craftsman would be nice.

You wont get a good quality aluminum jack. Most likely that u joint will break. Same thing happened to my friend's craftsman jack. His isnt leaking yet. But sometimes it does act like its not going to pump at all...I dont' have any problems out of my jack other than it is a somewhat slow lifter and is a PIG.

I haven't seen an aluminum jack that i've been impressed with yet.

The "higher end" craftsman aluminum one is junk, and I almost bought a blue-point/snap-on one but the quality didnt look much better. Especially for 2-3x the price.

Man im gettin frustrated with this freakin car. Still not getting power to the ecu! i re-ran grounds, thicker wire for both power AND grounds checked everything. only now, when i cut the car on, the starter doesnt engage. after i turn the car off, the car stays on (as far as the the "idiot lights" like oil light, battery light, ect) its wierd. everything is gettin power. i have more than enough grounds (so i think) anyone have any suggestions? i really need help bad

craftsman seems alright for a regular do-it-yourselfer, but once u get deep into this hobby, i'm starting to see many flaws in Craftsman tools.

i'm tired.

I like their hand tools as they're cheap, lifetime warranty, and its easy to go down to Sears and replace parts.

I'd much rather have snap-on, but its not worth it for what I do.

yes sir. they are good for hand tools/tools with lifetime warranties. But every other tool...almost...I get from advanced or autozone since they all have lifetime warranties on them.
