it really depends on which K20 i guess.

k20a2 and k20z1 are putting around 205-215 to the wheels with I/H/E

k20a are putting down around 220-230 with I/H/E

of course all of the k20's will put down the same numbers with bumped compression and cams.

ive seen 2.0L making 260-270. pretty crazy.

since we were speaking about radiators a few pages back. i'll add this,

k-tuned/etd traction bar with their adjustable mounts.

full-race radiator

samco coolant hoses for an RSX-S

the work together perfectly in the CRX chassis. you only need to trim about 1" off of the upper hose.

its very very possible if you get the hayward/jenveys. but nobody is certain yet. rumors have been floating around, but i havent seen pics.

if someone can show me proof, i'll buy another hood tomorrow and the ITBs.

Do what I'm doing. Spend the money on the go fast stuff, not on the bumper and hood and stupid **** like that.

but i will ahve to get at least an si-r style hood to clear it...may as well get a front end at that point. besides it wouldn't be my car if it didn't have a front. just gotta get another cheap one like i had lined up for the failed/ill fated/engine is now in my eh9 project.

i will tell you that the fiberimages CF hood fit on my usdm crx with a k20 and the hasport mounts.

it fit with the stock oil cap and the oil dipstick.

originally we (me, ryan, and chase) thought i would have to cut them down because they were touching.

but after i fully bolted down the hood and t-bar (or whatever its called) it fit.

but with the real metal siR hoods, you have to cut the under-webbing and still shave down the dipstick and oil cap.

i think the CF hood skin is thinner than the metal hood skin.

either way.... the car still looks, "stock" when using an siR or siR style hood. no need to cut through the entire hood to fit the motor.

my whole bag is i prefer the hatch over the crx for it's versatility(backseat). but i hate teh usdm front end, so fugly. if i could just sell myself on a 90/91 crx with a j's lip i would be content...just cuz adam's old grey one looked so good like that. that is the only way i could drive a crx. which may work out since it would be still in production parts (si-r style hood and j's lip).

dunno, when teh time comes i will get a chassis. for right now i wait and slowly stockpile parts (again).

Hatch makes a better dd, but the feel of a crx is much better than a hatch. I agree the hatch front end sucks big time.

if you care about back seats, get a sedan.

CRX owns the hatch on all aspects.

What's a few days? Nov. 24 and 25? I'm trying to get Chase and Ry to go down on Dec. 8th since I'm visiting a lady friend down there that same weekend.

I don't really do the bar scene in San Jo much since I'm a snob. I'd rather go to the city (SF), Palo Alto, or Mountain View. Hella. Let's chat more via PM.
