well update on the castrol syntec blend. i dont notice any leaks, car seems to run smoother. valvetrain was a little more noisy the first 2 days, seems to have quieted down. alternator bearing may be starting to go out though. car sounds a little like its supercharged when i rev it (whining sound)

K20A2 with the mods it takes to get it running or wild K setup...theyre all worth the money in the end.

almost all of the mocking up is done.


let me know when you have time to make it back down here id like to get the brake lines done and finish up that fuel supply.

i have been pondering it, for like a year now.. but since my car is about done for the most part.. as in back running.. i guess i could fix my sedan then start getting partts together.. and do it next winter. In my own personal garage and give my parents theres back haha

if i were to do it all over again, id buy all the little stuff first. mounts, axles, header, etc etc....

that way you can figure out what you want to do with the motor. either buy a k20a and leave it alone or buy a k20a2 and add LSD, FD, cams... etc etc.


for the price of a k20a, you could buy a k20a2 and a brand new in the box JRSC.

im not sure yet.. but if i do it, i will for sure buy all the small crap 1st.

Rent around here is cheap.. im looking at some 3 bedroom with 2 car garages for under 800 and im splitting this with a friend of mine..

 

sounds like an extra room for the parts that wont fit in your garage.

i had a parts room before. hehee

but at the same time i was renting 2 garages side by side at my old condo.

i did have 2 cars at the time... but once i sold the EG coupe, all my spare parts went into the garage and i rented out the spare room to my cousin.


much better. i had more spending loot.
