I'm guessing the engineers have factored that in.

I think u can get a VIN number issued to the car thru CHP.

hey guys, changing my oil this weekend. way overdue. do you think semi-synthetic is good for D-series motors with miles (200k). i normally use castrol GTX but have been considering Castrol semi-synthetic (mainly to possibly increase MPG, smoothness). im quite aware of the issues with running a full synthetic on a engine with high miles.

whenever i use synthetic on my toyota engine i can hear more valve train work, and it leaks alot. natural oil quits it down, and doesnt leak. but in my honda engine it didnt matter either worked good.

I think cold I contracted from the cesspool we call university here in Sacto has clouded my brain beyond the ability to make sense of that. My understanding is that there is no LEGAL was to register a jdm car in California. true?

actually for cars 25 years and older the DOT standards are bypassed.

There's more non-car stuff on my latest blog entry in the signature. Check em out. Tokina 10-17mm fisheye. Fun ish.
Check out that camber wear. I was going to go to Ashville, NC this weekend till I remembered the tires that need replacing.

well, i picked up some castrol syntec blend and a mobile 1 filter. i was doing some reading on bobistheoilguy forums and many people recommended high mileage blends. i went to check them out at kragens and they were almost all synthetic blends. i will let you guys know if it starts acting odd. car has 206K miles.
on a side note, i was checking out s2000's. i didnt know they were pretty safe (safer then an EF). im going to test drive one and see if i like them. i went to the honda dealer and they only had the showroom model. so far rear view mirror is blocking my vision. it would be nice to not have a theft magnet FWD honda.
