That's not rust, that's natural patina. You'll ruin your wheel if you refinish it.

Good morning EF folk!!

Here are couple pictures that i snapped about 10 minutes too late (the lighting sucks). This the first time that i have had all the piping installed for the turbo. The backside of the bumper needs to be shaved a bit and the intercooler straightened, but otherwise it is looking pretty sleepy...

Heres a pic of the custom gauge pod & LED Cluster:

And finally a picture of my other distractions. I recently erected this fence for a party i was hosting (As evidence by the keg)...

Edit: Man the quality of these pictures really blows

The Mod 08 I bought is a "race" wheel so it didn't come with any screws.
I bought some new black Momo screws for $6 shipped.

I've got a set of USDM front mudflaps for the EF hatch. I'll bring 'em to Nashville if anyone wants them. $5-10.

Does anyone going to Nashville have an EF9 front bumper with no foglight cutouts that wants to trade for mine that does have the foglight cutouts?

theres a light at the top of the cluster that has a orange cover over it that makes the lighting look shitty. the da has a blue cover that gives it a more natural, i guess, lighting. go to a junkyard and just get the little blue cover at the top of the da cluster, so you dont pay for the whole cluster. than bring it home and make it fit, it doesnt fit perfectly but with an exacto it gets close.

I think "patina" is a more general term that describes any finish that is old and/or weathered. It takes a long time for a natural patina to develop. Antiques tend to loose their value if they are cleaned too much or refinished. Patina is good, so keep your screws rusty. lol

Vega, to answer your question; My Leds get much brighter however my pc680 doesnt hold more of a charge than 2v, thus they were on the dim side...

I purchased them from: http://www.autolumination.com This is a shitty company to deal with but they got the goods. Be warned they are overpriced and slow

It depends, if you dont care about a quick release, a standard steering wheel hub will suffice. However if you are interested in a quick release, i reccomend getting a hub that is slimmer to compensate for the depth of a quick release.

I want a quick release for the shear fact that you can't drive my car without a steering wheel. Oh, and it looks cool when you take it off. lol.
