Offical eH squad list.
They'll get the Jets.
Banner- I think the Ravens came out in the second half with thinking they had it in the bag, and the Steelers came out knowing they had to turn it up. Those two factors lead to the Steelers win.

Saints had more to lose than the Bears. Bears are a better team than the Saints this year.
I understand luck trumphs skill every time, but skill is more reassuring.
Either way, everyone has a punchers chance, but that doesnt mean its going to happen.
Good game it is going to be, regardless.

I contacts THMotorsports regarding their Koni/GC setup. This is the PM he sent me:
We are the only ones who have all applications currently instock!
Thank you for inquiring about the Koni/Ground Control Package.
For the stage 1 package with 4 koni yellows and 4 ground control coilovers its $799 shipped. For the stage 2 package with 4 koni yellows, 4 ground control coilovers, and 2 top hats its $899 shipped. These prices are for all 92-00 Civics and 94-01 Integras. If you have a 93-97 prelude, or 88-91 Civic, 90-93 Integra, you are looking at $39 more per package due to the shocks being more expensive. 01-05 civics, RSX, and TSX are $995 shipped. To order, please call us at 1-800-959-0145 ext 8 or you can paypal: sales@thmotorsports.com . Please remember to tell us the spring rates you want, as you can choose whatever rates you like!
Stage III package, which includes all 4 top hats, is $1019 shipped in the lower 48 states.
Please remember, if you are located in California, you must pay $37-42 in tax depending on which package you go with. Ground Control makes us charge California customers this tax since they are located in California.
If you want Koni's alone:
Koni Yellows for 88-00 Civics/94-01/Del Sol Integra are on super special right now for $499 shipped! To order, please call me at 1-800-959-0145 ext 0 or you can paypal: sales@thmotorsports.com . If you have a Prelude, Accord please add $75 to that price. If you have an RSX/Ep3/EM2, the koni's are $595 shipped.
Thanks in advance,
Nick

I don't mind shelling out that kind of money for something that is reputable/good price/lifetime warranty. Note this does not embody my entire (maybe 40% with customer service and adjustability being the other 60%) criteria for purchasing a good suspension, just somethings I look for when making a purchase that I don't want to make again (once I buy these I doubt I'll want anything else).
I'm probably going with the [Street/auto-x: 350/380Lbs], since I will be running a rear sway bar setup with brace (GSR sway, not ITR), hence why I have a softer rear spring rate. Feel free to chime in on this. My car is a DD that I will Auto-X (3-5 times a yr; cash permitting) and maybe a road course once or twice a year (never done it but would like to).
Now here is my noob question: Can someone explain the purpose of tophats and are they necessary for my application?

Good deal. I should of borrowed an extra 200 and gotten that set up lol. I would go with 2 top hats. Basically they give the konis more stroke room, that way you won't bottom out as easily. I'll leave this topic to Brad lol.

They simply allow a bit more shock travel. You only need them for the front...the rear is unnecessary. I've been beating the crap out of my GC 450f/400r rates with Koni Yella's and two GC extended upper mounts in the front oem upper mounts in the rear for five years now.
Thats not that stiff when you can adjust the dampening. For reference that would be equivalent to 8k and ~7.5k. Function and Form Type 1s are 10k and 6k and they are a little bumpy sometimes, it depends on the roads. That is stiff but with the dampening adjusted it won't feel too bad. What makes the ride bumpy is when the dampening is stiff, causing it to push the springs up and it feels that way. If the dampening is set soft then it will take a little longer to get the spring back up and thus alleviating some of the bumps better. Those rates are fine for daily riding with some sacrifice in comfort. The car I went to IA in last year had the Koni/GC and it was stiff but when he went over bumps it took a little more time for it to go back up and that made the ride really pleasant IMO.
They're actually not that stiff if you compare them to some of the other fancy colored aftermarket coilover suspensions out there nowadays. I've been driving a lowered Honda Civic since 1998 and I've just grown use to the bumps and what not. However...the Koni Yellows actually dampen these rates really well so it's not too harsh of a ride.
