did you ever find out whats wrong with the vtec not engaging?

 

it is either the solenoid or the whole spool valve. which my cost is still higher than what id like to spend when i can use that money for seat time. still a blast regardless.

 

brad, light fixture looks good installed bro.

 

i understand that, but i bet if the motor had all its performance you would be even more stoked!

nah at this point im just doing hpdes so power isnt the issue. the driver is..this weekend was my 5th track event and my first nasa event(group that hosts honda challenge). hpde1 is the lowest hpde4 is the highest. then you go to tt or comp school for wheel to wheel. my second session today i did a check ride to go into de3 and i got checked off. so im super stoked on that.



that is sick. but does your throttle cable go in front of the radiator and into the passenger "fender well" then into the bay?

it has an gsr exhaust cam. too big intake arm and tb with an old style skunk2 im. and yeah with vtec it rolls out.

and the colts are always winners in my heart.

Yeah...Dinko has been a friend of mine for quite some time now. I did my first motor swap in my old red coupe in his parent's garage. His red 5th gen hatch was so clean...I think he still regrets getting rid of it.
