i dont think it has a thing to do with numbers 2 or 3. and as for number 1. please dont neglect the cap/rotor.

actually do those and see what happens. then if it doesn't work, do the cap/rotor. and let me know what happens here or via PM, please.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Replaced my plugs today and still is misfiring. not as bad but its definately still doing it. I bet it is going to be my cap or rotor. I am gonna check it out more tommorow. Could it possibly be my ICM or a bad injector? I already tapped on my injectors to see if it would free em up but nothing came of it.

So does everyone else think Phantom Grip is bad?</TD></TR></TABLE>

I have heard the Phantom Grip is complete crap, but again that is just what i have heard.

A friend of mine was using a KAAZ for 6 years. the car has seen hundreds of track launches on slicks, and just as many autox's. the car was driven hard to say the least.... he sold it about a year ago but that was the best dif i have ever seen. I would buy that over anything on the market. if you have the cash

Yeah those were just thoughts bouncing around my head.

Plugs and Wires are being bought today, I let out an extra dizzy I had to a friend locally, so I'm gonna go try to grab that back and see what happens. I'll let you know

Quaiffe really is the way to go. As for the Phantom "Slip", I'm also not a fan, but to be honest, I've never run one.

If by same problem you mean misfiring then yes we are having the same problem. Im guessing mine is in my ignition somewhere Im going to hopefully get the answer today. Yesterday before i changed a plug that looked fouled It felt like I was riding on 3 cylnders, now I just have a misfire which leads me to believe it is the rotor.

Default Re: HELP ..

I just bought a DA (90 RS) like three weeks ago that needs minor things but the 2 main things that are really bothering me right now is every time I turn on the heat or AC you can smell the gas from the exhaust coming in through the vents ..
The second thing is every time I shift gears between 45K & 55K RPM's the car stars like backfiring and it doesnt move , does this have anything to do with the distributor ???

thanks for the help ...

not sure why you would waste the time and money to put a DC front end on a DA..either you like one or the other? seems stupid to me but what do I know. I only own the last 3 generations of the Integra.

Its cause your shifting between 45,000 and 55,000
Just kidding....
Can you elaborate on this problem a bit.
Does it do the same thing if you just rev the motor while in neutral?
What do you mean by "it doesn't move"?
